Back from a stay at Nemacolin and it’s easy to see why so many different types of travelers love it. Whether it’s a family getaway, golf or fly fishing trip with friends, spa weekend, couples escape, or multi-gen celebration, the resort truly has something for everyone.

One of the things I loved most is that each area of the property — from Falling Rock to The Chateau and The Grand Lodge — has its own feel, so your stay can really match the vibe of your trip. Egypt was a lot, but in the best way possible 🇪🇬

The scale, the detail, the sheer intricacy of everything built thousands of years ago was completely mind-blowing. Cairo is loud and chaotic. Luxor is slower, calmer, and home to some of the most incredible historical sites I’ve ever seen. And staying at Al Moudira felt like a true oasis in the middle of it all.

Cruising along the Nile was pure magic. I could have spent weeks drifting past palm trees and villages, just watching life unfold along the riverbanks.

The street vendors are persistent (see last slide), but that’s all part of the energy that makes Egypt so special

This region offers such range: incredible food, rich culture, vibrant cities, peaceful beaches, and experiences that truly feel unique and special.

Planning a trip to SE Asia is super nuanced. Seasonality varies by country (and even coastline), logistics between destinations require thoughtful routing, and choosing the right hotels and islands makes all the difference in the overall experience.

When done well, it’s seamless. When done without strategy, it can feel complicated and stressful.

Rang in 2026 in Montréal & Québec City ❄️🇨🇦

Montréal is such an easy long-weekend trip—quick flight or drive—and the city has such a charming European vibe. The food scene was incredible, and I already can’t wait to come back to try even more of its stellar restaurants. was one of my favorite meals of 2025

Québec City felt like a fairytale winter wonderland… cobblestone streets, twinkling lights, cozy pubs, and outdoor adventures for the whole family - dog sledding, snowshoeing, outdoor spas, and more.

Both cities are amazing year-round, so if the snow isn’t your thing, summer or fall would be equally delightful

First stop in Sicily: Verdura — the perfect place to settle in for a few slow, indulgent days. The resort sits just outside Sciacca, a charming coastal town known for its fishing heritage, ceramics, and lively little streets. I didn’t make it into town this time, but it’s an easy visit if you’re looking to explore during your stay.

On property, there’s plenty to fill your days: long stretches of beach, a serene spa, biking paths, tennis, pickleball, wine tasting, water sports, diving, and Italy’s top-rated golf course. It’s the kind of place where there’s something for everyone - families, couples, or groups alike.

The villas are wonderfully spacious too, ideal for those traveling with more people who want extra privacy and their own pool.

Verdura is the perfect spot to begin or end your trip to Sicily 🇮🇹

Just an hour from Panama City, it’s the perfect way to pair some city time with an island escape. Adults only, with great food, and you can choose between staying in an overwater bungalow or your own treehouse (like we did)

Days can be as full or as lazy as you want: explore smaller islands with your own boat captain, go scuba diving or snorkeling, e-biking, fishing or just relax on a catamaran. We just sipped G&Ts by the water and loved every minute of it 🍹

✨ Panama City ✨

Since Panama City is a major gateway to South America, many travelers only ever experience it on a layover, but Panama City is absolutely worth making your final destination. Just a quick flight from the East Coast, it’s perfect for a long weekend or for a longer trip paired with Panama’s islands or jungle.

My favorite part? The mix of history and modern energy. Casco Viejo’s cobblestone streets are filled with rooftop cocktail bars, boutique shops, and some really delicious restaurants.

During the day, you can tour the Panama Canal, head out by boat for island hopping or deep-sea fishing, or spend time with indigenous communities.

And because the country is so compact, it’s easy to fit a mix of city, rainforest, and ocean into one trip without long travel days.

It’s rare to find a place where you can move so seamlessly from the historic old town to rainforest treks to island escapes, and that’s why I can’t wait to go back 💃
