🌋 Exploring Norris Geyser Basin: A Reminder to Stay Safe 🌋

Norris Geyser Basin is one of Yellowstone’s most stunning geothermal wonders, home to some of the park’s hottest and most acidic features. Walking through this dynamic landscape feels like stepping onto another planet. The vibrant colors, bubbling springs, and steaming fumaroles are mesmerizing – but they come with serious risks.

Unfortunately, during our recent time at the basin, we witnessed someone step off the boardwalk toward a hot spring, all for the sake of a photo. Not only did they risk their own safety, but they also jeopardized the fragile ecosystem that makes this place so unique.

The crust around geysers and hot springs is incredibly thin, with boiling water just beneath the surface. One wrong step could result in severe burns or worse. Staying on designated paths isn’t just a rule – it’s a necessity for both your safety and the preservation of Yellowstone’s natural beauty.

Let’s all do our part to protect these irreplaceable wonders. Your safety – and the health of this incredible environment – are far more valuable than any photo could ever be.

Wolves are rare, elusive, and awe-inspiring, and this group had the privilege of a truly unforgettable encounter. 🖤 After joining us for a winter adventure, they returned to Yellowstone with hearts set on more. With Jack as their guide, they spent four days in the wild, observing and learning about this magnificent predator.

Moments like these remind us of the untamed beauty of Yellowstone and the deep connections we form when we immerse ourselves in its wilderness. From snowy trails to spring blooms, it’s experiences like this that stay with us forever.

With adventures spanning all 7 continents, 25 countries, and 36 of our National Parks, Michaela has dedicated herself to exploring and sharing the beauty of nature. Her passion for sustainable tourism and love for the Greater Yellowstone Area make her an incredible addition to our team. She’s excited to connect travelers with the land and its wildlife while inspiring responsible adventures wherever your journey takes you.

✨ Alex comes to us with a deep-rooted love for the outdoors and a remarkable background in outdoor education, special education, and therapeutic horsemanship. From guiding horseback rides through Arizona’s breathtaking landscapes to training wild mustangs and sharing the trails with her trusty adventure dog, Obie, Alex’s passion for helping others connect with nature shines through in all she does.

What an incredible day for adventure guide Isaac! A moment where his group encountered a wolf that had come across a vehicle mirror and decided to have a new chew toy. After the wolf had left, Isaac grabbed the mirror and got to view the chew marks. What an experience for this lucky group! And not to mention, they got a three dog day with coyote pups and a close encounter with a fox!! These days are so special and we love sharing them with our groups!
