Sandals Halcyon- St. Lucia.

We took the shuttle over to Halcyon, so we could check out the layout/vibe. It is a smaller resort. Depending on your preference, that could be a positive or a negative. Easy to navigate, but less restaurants to choose from. However, Kelly's Dockside restaurant is located at Halcyon and it's a top rated option.

The beach is a fairly nice size. We didn't have much difficulty grabbing chairs around 11am.

As described, the atmosphere is a bit more chill. You can certainly still get in on some fun. The main pool was quite lively. We loved both the garden layout and the rooms facing oceanside.

If you are looking for a more laid back option for your next adult getaway, we should consider Halcyon.

They bring out several small courses which you are served family style. Local spices are in the center of the table to adjust to your liking.
A warm cozy atmosphere- highly recommend if you stay at a Sandals with this dining option.

Not to be downplayed- this is a tough hike. Elevation gain of approx 2,000 feet, 4 miles over 4-5 hrs (including breaks), lots of rough terrain, boulders to climb.
I thought my legs would be sore the next day, but arms/back are too from all the climbing.
Heat always plays a factor on this hike. We got an early start, but were still feeling it on the way down.
