I had a great weekend on Lake Ontario with Justin Hoyt and his family. We had great weather, good conversation, tasty food and the fishing was pretty good to. We had a lot of action over the two days. Big kings,big browns and big lake trout! Lake Ontario grows them big! I have a few open mornings left in September if you want to fill the freezer. It's that time of the season! The biggest fish of the season are starting to move shallow to get ready for the fall run. These fish have avoided hooks for the last 3-4 years and now they are vulnerable. These older fish are 22-26 lbs and there is always a chance at a fish over 30 lbs.

I have one morning available during the time these fish will be active. September 14th is available for a morning trip. I also have a few afternoon trips available.

The 11th annual Reelin for a cure tournament was last Friday. My team OBLBR (old broads love bent rods) and my mate for the day Blake Kowalski were absolutely flawless! We hooked and landed all of our bites. Slow and steady wins the race. Our tournament box consisted of 4 mature salmon, 12lb Lake trout and nice brown trout. That box out us in second place. This is a fun tournament that I look forward to every year. The proceeds all go to a good cause.
