In celebration of America 250, The Butler Institute of American Art presents an exhibition revisiting its inaugural 1919 collection. Through the vision of founder Joseph G. Butler Jr., the exhibition explores how early American art—often created by immigrant artists and inspired by global subjects—helped shape ideas of what it meant to be American. Installed throughout the museum, the America 250 works form a visual trail through time, inviting visitors to retrace Mr. Butler's landmark 1919 exhibition. Look for the blue tags and the America 250 seal to find all 33 works.

It’s opening day at Noah's Lost Ark Exotic Animal Rescue Center! 🎉 Located at 8424 Bedell Rd. in Berlin Center, this facility offers a safe haven for unwanted and abused exotic animals, including lions, tigers, and primates. Hours are Tuesday-Sunday, 9am-5pm.

Families will soon have a new way to explore Youngstown's cultural, educational, and recreational destinations with the launch of YoPass, a digital passport program designed to make local discovery interactive and rewarding.

YoPass officially launches this Saturday, May 2, with a kickoff event at the McDonough Museum of Art from 10-11am. Free parking will be available at the M30 Wick Avenue Deck by mentioning YoPass. Attendees can participate in activities, with special discounts available at participating downtown restaurants afterward.
