No more paper applications. You can starting in 2027 apply all online including first time passport applicants. Game changer!

PASSPORT CHANGES: Beginning next year, U.S. citizens will be able to apply for their first passport fully online — no more paper forms.

Also, applicants can just take a photo of themselves through their phones and upload it — no more drugstore photos.

All of this will be done through the new platform America.gov which serves as a landing page that consolidates almost 30,000 federal government websites into one chatbot.

The U.S. State Department will begin revoking the U.S. passports of thousands of parents who owe a significant amount of unpaid child support, the department told The Associated Press on Thursday. The revocations are set to begin Friday.
