Two w**e eggs, carved from wood—and a little piece of Slovenia’s w**e country.
Here in Brda, it all starts with opoka, the distinctive marl soil that defines this remarkable w**e region. Layers of ancient marine sediment give Brda’s vineyards their character and help shape the w**es grown here.
It’s one of those things we love about traveling: discovering how the land, the people and the w**e are all connected.
And sometimes, you find something along the way that tells that story beautifully.
