2nd February each year is celebrated as World Wetlands Day. The day is dedicated to raising global awareness about the vital role of wetlands for people and our planet. This day also marks the date of the adoption of the Convention on Wetlands on 2 February 1971, in the Iranian city of Ramsar on the shores of the Caspian Sea. Wetlands play a vital role in the survival of life on earth, their protection and conservation is essential.

Punta del Este: Coast & Lagoons is a birding route around Punta del Este that is very requested by birders who visit Uruguay. It is a one-day route that provides more than 100 bird species. Reaching 107 spp. last Saturday 30 with Arnel Guanlao from California who alredy visited uruguay one year ago. Wellcome again!
