ITINERARY:
TASHKENT - URGENCH/KHIVA - BUKHARA - SAMARKAND

PROGRAMME:
DAY 1, 09.05.25 FRI
BISHKEK - TASHKENT
Arrival in Tashkent. Meet at airport with driver. Transfer to local hotel for accommodation.
Dinner at local restaurant. Overnight at hotel.
DAY 2, 10.05.25 SAT
TASHKENT
Breakfast at hotel.
Excursion in Tashkent: visit to Museum of Applied Arts; Earthquake memorial; Amir Temur Square;
Independence Square; Theatre Square; we take a ride on most beautiful stations of the Tashkent metro.
Visit to Khast Imam Square - consisting of Barak Khan Madrassah, Tillya Sheykh Mosque and Kafal Shashi mausoleum; visit to Kukeldash madrassah; visit Chorsu Bazaar.
Visit to the ceramics studio "Usto-Shogird".
Lunch and dinner at local restaurants.
Overnight at hotel.

DAY 3, 11.05.25 SUN
TASHKENT - URGENCH-KHIVA 
Transfer to airport for flight HY-051 - Tashkent 07h00 - Urgench 08h30. Arrive in Urgench. Drive to Khiva (40 min drive).
Spend the day exploring Khiva. Visit to Ichan Kala: Muhammed Aminkhan Madrassah and its minaret;
Kunya Ark and Juma Mosque with 218 pillars (one of the most ancient structures in Central Asia; Tash Khauli palace (the Harem of Khiva Khans); Mausoleum of Pakhlavan Makhmud; Islam Khodja complex and other monuments. Take part in cooking Uzbek bread "non".
Lunch at local restaurant.
Dinner at local restaurant.
DAY 4, 12.05.25 MON
Drive to Bukhara 450 km (6-7 hrs). Lunch en-route.
KHIVA- BUKHARA
Arrival and accommodation at hotel.
Dinner at local restaurant.
Overnight at hotel.
DAY 5, 13.05.25 TUE
BUKHARA
Breakfast at hotel.
Full day tour of Bukhara: Lyabi-Khauz Complex consisting of Nodir-Divan-beghi madrassah (XVII c.), Kukeldash madrassah (XVI c.), Khonako (XVII c.); Magoki-Attari mosque (XII c., XVI c.);
Enjoy tea time to sample different teas (with cardamom, anise, cinnamon, oregano and others).
Visit to the local bazaars: Tok-i-Zargaron (1570) - Jeweler's bazaar, Tok--Tilpak Furushon - Cap Maker's Bazaar, Tok-i-Sarrafon - Moneychanger's Bazaar; Madrassah of Ulugbek (1417), Abdulaziz-khan madrassah. Visiting Tim Abdullakhan.

Most Interesting Fact about Uzbekistan!!!
Uzbekistan is not only a land locked country. It is a double landlocked country meaning all the countries surrounding it are also landlocked. And to reach any coastline from Uzbekistan, one has to cross at least two countries. Liechtenstein is the only other country in the world which is double landlocked.
