Is the capital city of the municipality San Fernando and of the Apure State in Los Llanos de Venezuela. It is identified with the phrase "The city of hope!". It is the administrative headquarters of the state. Thus, government and public administration are its main economic activities, followed by the education sector. The city is the main financial settlement of the State, whose first activity is livestock and agriculture.

The site is located on 5 July and 1 May Avenue on the right bank of the Apure River, after passing the San Fernando de Apure Airport. It is a place where several popular restaurants are established, being the food proposal the boiled beef and black hen pica stone, meat in stick and the famous white cachapas.
