We’re so in love with everything the amazing Sophie Stanton has created Creative Waves The list is endless but includes hosting art shows for local artists who would otherwise not be seen, hosting artists in residence who would otherwise not have anywhere to create, fund raising for artists, providing commissioned artwork for the hospital and igniting an interest in local crafts that will otherwise die out. *this is honestly a short list of what Sophie’s actually done for the community.

She brings together all different people in a fun and energetic setting, and I love the pop-up evening classes that range from basket-waving to portraiture and watercolor painting to portraiture and making kalabash bowls. And I never complain when there’s a glass of wine thrown in 😜 You can wven arrange private gatherings there.

Follow Creative Waves and I’d really encourage you to check out their schedule for a refreshingly different island experience or visit their space next to Arawak at Road Reef Plaza as you enter Road Town from West End.

Here’s somewhere to dream of while you’re looking out at snow 😉
