Captain and Chef Couple Wanted | 58-Foot Crewed Catamaran | BVI

My Caribbean Charters is recruiting a Captain and Chef couple for a busy 58-foot catamaran operating weekly charters for up to 10 guests.

This is an entry-level opportunity intended for an early-career crew couple ready to develop their skills aboard a larger charter yacht. It would suit candidates coming from cabin-charter operations, flotilla sailing, smaller crewed yachts, or recently qualified crew with relevant practical experience.

Captain requirements:

* RYA Yachtmaster 200 GT, or an accepted equivalent qualification
* Minimum one year of relevant experience aboard a similar-sized vessel
* Confident sailing, boat-handling and guest-management skills
* Professional, safety-conscious and willing to learn

Chef requirements:

* Recognized culinary training
* Minimum one year of relevant experience in a similar charter, yacht or hospitality environment
* Able to plan menus, provision and provide a high standard of food for up to 10 guests
* Organized, personable and comfortable working closely with guests

This is a couples position because the crew accommodation consists of a shared cabin with a double bed.

The package includes:

* Basic monthly salary
* Additional bonus for every completed charter
* Liveaboard accommodation
* Full operational training and ongoing support
* Ten-month contract
* Flights home paid upon successful completion of the contract

Applicants must be BVI Belongers or meet the requirements for BVI work permits.

This position is structured for an ambitious couple at the beginning of their professional charter career. It is unlikely to suit highly experienced senior crew seeking senior-level compensation.
