The home is within a private gate shared with only two other homes, on the knoll of a hill over beautiful Pelican Beach and adjacent to numerous other white sand beaches. Yes, you can walk to t

he water. You are also close enough by vehicle to choose a different beach every day, as this is a great location with easy access to everything you need. Enter from the private drive to an inviting covered porch and pool, offering complete privacy. The pool is quite large in island standards (not just a small dipping pool), and is also handicap accessible. It offers a great mix of sun and shade along with wonderful views. From here, you can enter the home to a door into the kitchen, or around the house at the huge covered veranda that offers the views dreams are made of. The upstairs has two bedrooms and two bathrooms to accompany the outdoor living space (as that is how we prefer to live here in the Virgin Islands). The great room also has a pull out couch for extra guests.

Our family of six just returned from a week at Sea Sound Villa. We had a great time and would love to visit this home again. The house is clean, comfortable and accurately shown in the posted photos. The owners are easy to reach and are very helpful.

Outside, the views from the large wrap-around deck are fantastic! There are several lounge chairs around the pool, there is a large table that’s great for breakfast or evening cocktails and around the corner there is a big hammock for napping. Inside, there is a well equipped kitchen, a dining area, a large living room and two large bedrooms with attached bathrooms. My two teenage children slept on the large sectional sofa and were comfortable. Below the deck, there is a smaller “apartment” that is perfect for a couple.

We spent several mornings on Pelican and Sapphire beaches below the house. You walk down a paved road with a short hike through the trees at the end to access the beach. The road is a bit steep in spots, but my 82 year old mother was able to make it fine. There are lots of beach chairs at house if you want to take them along.

We enjoyed the homes east end location. You are only about a five minute drive to lots of restaurants, bars and shops in Red Hook. We liked that the house feels secluded, but you can grab a quick lunch or run to the grocery store without lots of driving.

Breathtaking views ideal for R & R

I brought my family on this vacation to escape the winter weather and it was the perfect choice. The house had everything and more than we expected. We had our 6 month and 7 year old daughters with us and they were in heaven. We have traveled a lot and the view from the deck was one the best we have ever seen. It was so relaxing that we didn't want to leave the house, except to go for our daily swim and snorkel at pelican beach, which was just a short walk or drive if you have a baby. We felt like we had our own private beach, what more could you ask for.
We are so grateful that we found this place and can't wait to go back!

Recommended for: Age 55+, girls getaway, people with disabilities, romantic getaway, adventure seekers, families with young children, sightseeing, families with teenagers.
