We regularly swap out older items, double-check that nothing is broken or missing pieces, and add new surprises for our guests to enjoy.

At Casa de Vista, we're constantly making small (and sometimes big!) improvements to ensure your stay is as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. Many of these updates might fly under the radar—and that's totally fine. Some projects are simply part of keeping "Our/Your Home" running smoothly.

Whether it's a fresh coat of paint, updated amenities, or behind-the-scenes maintenance, every change is made carefully and with you in mind. Because when you're here, it's your home too.

((Thank You, Uncle Mike for cleaning, sanding, and painting the shutters, trim, screen frames, and cranks down the hallway!! AND ... a shoutout to Brian and I (Beth) for freshening up the walls ...))

Hey Everyone! 👋🏼

It’s been a minute... actually, it’s been months! 😅
But we’re still here — and so is Casa de Vista! 🏡🌴

Just like the colorful directional signs outside our door, the Runkle family has been heading in some exciting new directions:
✨ Brian and Beth have moved from Connecticut to South Carolina for Brian’s new job.
✨ Our daughter, Brooke, has completed the classroom portion of PA School at Samuel Merritt University (CA) and has started her clinical rotations in Salt Lake City. She’ll be graduating this December!
✨ Our son, Blake, finished his undergrad and master’s degree in Criminal Justice and 5 years of lacrosse at the University at Albany (NY) — and has also moved out to Salt Lake City. He’s busy job hunting, coaching high school lacrosse, playing semi-pro box lacrosse, and working with the USVI Lacrosse Program. Big things are happening!

We know life has all of us moving in every direction... and we hope one of your paths leads you to Casa de Vista for a stay! 🌞🌊

Our fans run 24/7, 365 days a year, and these two are ready for their job to keep you cool. ((Don't worry, the AC is still working just fine, too!!))
