At Tan Tan Tours, we believe that all of nature's greatest treasures deserve our care, not just our admiration.

Over the past several days, our team dedicated countless hours to clearing large amounts of sargassum from the tide pools by hand. It was physically demanding work, but preserving this beautiful natural space for our guests, local families, hikers, and visitors made every effort worthwhile.

The tide pools are more than just a stop on a tour—they are part of our island's natural beauty and something we are proud to share with the world.

As we continue welcoming guests to experience this incredible place, we kindly ask everyone to help us protect it.

It's hard not to feel sad when I walk through Christiansted and see how slow business has become for so many local shops, restaurants, vendors, and entrepreneurs. This town is filled with history, culture, and hardworking people, yet many businesses are struggling with fewer customers and lower sales than they once enjoyed.

Christiansted has so much potential, but it needs support from all of us. We need more events that bring people downtown, stronger marketing to attract visitors, better collaboration between businesses, and initiatives that encourage both residents and tourists to shop locally. Clean, welcoming public spaces, improved parking solutions, and a vibrant calendar of activities can also help bring more foot traffic into town.

Most importantly, we as a community can make a difference by choosing to spend our money with local businesses whenever possible. Every purchase, meal, and service booked locally helps keep someone's dream alive and strengthens our economy.

I love Christiansted and believe it can thrive again, but it will take a collective effort from business owners, residents, community leaders, and government agencies. Our town deserves to be bustling, vibrant, and full of opportunity.
