This is an artist’s rendition of what Phase 2 expansion will look like along Veterans Highway in Charlotte Amalie. I’ve been trying to figure out how they were going to do this. Traffic flow should be greatly improved while improving the appearance in this area.

Pictured is a careened ship. Careening is a method of gaining access to the hull of a sailing vessel without the use of a dry dock. It is used for cleaning (barnacles) or repairing the hull. Hassel Island has a section called Careening Cove which was used for just this purpose.
