Happy End of Season! The crew went out for a fabulous dinner at too.chez to celebrate the end of our weird and wacky 11th season! We shared our favorite and least favorite moments of the past year and many other stories and laughs! Missing in action were Captain Cole and Aylee but they’ll be back for season 12, debuting October 30th!

And that’s a wrap! We were supposed to head to Puerto Rico this weekend for our haul out, but the the weather window for a safe passage fizzled away with the latest forecasts…our only choice was to head to PR today.

A huge thank you to all our wonderful Captains, Crew and musicians that make Lyric Sails so special! It’s always bittersweet leaving St Croix at the end of the season, especially when we leave earlier than expected, but we’re so grateful for the support of our community and already can’t wait to come back in October!

After a few days of engine issues, we were welcomed back to sailing by dolphins!

Wishing everyone a safe and relaxing holiday today with family and friends. Thank you to all who have served.

We are not sailing today (or Monday’s during the off-season), but have sunset sails every other night this week! Come enjoy the waning of May with us!

Sometime between 5.45pm and 10pm tonight, our dinghy motor (black Suzuki 2.5hp) was taken off our dinghy that was on our mooring. Our mooring is in front of Flyers/Ruff Start. There was music on the waterfront so maybe someone saw something?

We have yet to receive a ransom call, so we assume one is not coming. But if you do want to send one, please text it to 740-595-0052. We’ll pay up to $200 for the safe return of the motor, as long as it still works. His name is Fred and he’s expensive to feed right now at 4.99/gal, but we still do love him.

If you believe you did this in error, or had a momentary lapse in judgement, we’d love to get our engine back! It is beaten up and kind of dingy, but it does belong to us and we’re fond of it. Text 740-595-0052 for handoff instructions.

Also if anyone tries to sell you a 2.5hp, beat up, but recently serviced dinghy motor, please let us know and/or call 340-772-9111. Yes, we have filed a police report.
