"I apologize for taking so long in getting a review to you – it’s silly that I haven’t written sooner because all we have to say are the most positive things we can find!
Jayde and Brand were the tops. They MADE our experience on Pegasus the best that we could ever hope for. Our family had THE BEST holiday that we could ever dream of. Of course, the BVI is a remarkably beautiful and relaxing place, breathtaking views, incredible waters, ridiculously fun activities- but really, it was our crew that helped us relax, enjoy and experience all there is from Pegasus and the BVI. We keep trying to express to friends how incredible our trip was and the only way that they can really know is if they board Pegasus with Brand and Jayde.
Jayde instantly related to each our three daughters as if she had known them for years– they are each such individuals and she knew exactly where to meet them, gained their trust and they had a ball together. At one point, Jaydepaddled to shore with the girls while Brand took Jim and I on a SCUBA dive (INCREDIBLE) – she introduced them to one of her crew friends as “my ladies” and they all felt so special.
Jayde is mature and wise (and fun) beyond her years. She has a keen sense of how to take care of people, is a remarkable chef (I could easily get used to having someone beautifully plate my meals but Jayde’s cooking was off the chart delicious as well!) and keeps a boat in top order. Jayde was an amazing role model for my girls in how to communicate well, even if what she needed to convey wasn’t easy or something needed attending – it’s all in the tone of voice and she carried that out more beautifully than I have ever seen anyone do. Jayde also has sailing skills that are very respectable and that adds to the safety and fun of sailing on Pegasus.
Brand is a super duper captain and loves Pegasus and the water and sailing and that was evident from the moment we met him. We had Brand work on SCUBA with our daughters and, not only was he clear and patient with them, he helped them have a good time. Only one daughter ended up being certified but the other two weren’t made to feel badly. There is so much to do in the BVI and Brand guided us beyond our wildest expectations. The crew even had bought a tube to pull behind the tender and, just when my youngest daughter had asked about when they could try it out, Brand said “How about this afternoon?” Brand (and Jayde, too) was always ready to please and make us feel as we were #1 and that they were thrilled to do anything for us.
A friend asked what our next trip might be – and we can’t think of anywhere else we would like to travel except to the BVI on Pegasus of London with Brand and Jayde!!
And, not to forget Sharon. From the get-go of when I first contacted Sharon, she was always super responsive and helpful and positive and led us well for our catamaran adventure and onshore before and after our boat trip. I highly recommend her very personal approach to creating the most special holiday a family could hope for. We want to go back!!! Alone! And with friends! And with our family!
With great appreciation for Sharon, Jayde, Brand and the owners of the very classy, perfectly stocked, well appointed, clean, ship shape catamaran experience ever,
**we celebrated Christmas while we were on Pegasus and that was another positive experience – they had gifts for each of us and they were perfect!!!!
**we also had gotten surprising and sad news about Jim’s dad passing away in the night as we arrived on Tortola. Jayde and Brand listened to us well and made us all feel cared for and comforted in the most appropriate and meaningful way we could imagine. HUGE!!!!!"
