Did you know that you can take a free shuttle bus from Ben Xe Mien Tay (HCMC) to join the city center?
In fact, Bến xe Miền Tây (BXMT) is a bit far from the center. You can take a free shuttle to Le Hong Phong street (district 5). So you can get closer the center.
The service is offered by Futa and Thanh Buoi companies.

🇬🇧 We had the pleasure to meet two lovely guests from Germany, Dana & Salina, during her 2 days tour in Can Tho.

Their day started early as they headed to the Cai Rang Floating Market, one of the most popular tourist attractions here. After the floating market, they took a ride to Son Island, located near the homestay Maison de Lea. They were fascinated by the lush greenery and serene atmosphere of the island. They visited the fish farm and the fruit garden and put life on pause under the longan tree.

Overall, their trip to Can Tho was a huge success, thanks to the helpful suggestion from Maison de Lea. They got to experience the rich culture and natural beauty of the region and create memories that will last a lifetime.

Anna was an adventurous young girl from Montpellier who had always dreamt of traveling the world. On the first day of Anna's stay, my family and I took her to the nearby Son island. The island was a haven for travelers looking to escape the hustle and bustle of city life.

Once arrived, we could visit a local puffed rice factory, where they showed her how to make a delicious snack from scratch. Anna was amazed at the process and loved the taste of the freshly made puffed rice. Next, we went to the river to watch the flyfish. We were mesmerized by the way they darted in and out of the water, and I couldn't believe how beautiful they were. Anna took a lot of photos and videos to show her friends back home.

Finally, we visited a longan fruit garden, and she was amazed by the way it looked. The garden's owner explained that this longan variety was a tropical fruit native to Vietnam and that it was sweet and juicy. Anna got to taste some of the fruit, and she loved it.

She had never experienced anything like this before, and she felt grateful for the opportunity to learn about Vietnamese culture and traditions.

Victor had an unforgettable experience during his stay at Maison de Lea! We took him to the floating market with Olivier and Lea during the Tet holiday, and it was amazing to see all the boats selling fresh produce and other goods. We also invited him to join us for a traditional Tet dinner at our home, where he got to taste some delicious Vietnamese food.

To explore the city, Victor rented a bike and visited the Phong Dien district, where he immersed himself in the local culture and met some friendly locals. He's a young traveler who loves to explore new places, and we're thrilled that he chose Maison de Lea for his stay in Vietnam.

In fact, Victor has even more exciting adventures planned for his upcoming trip to Thailand, where he'll be visiting Hoi An, Hanoi, and other cities. We wish him safe travels and can't wait to hear about all his experiences along the way!

The Cái Răng floating market is properly the n°1 activity for tourists when in Can Tho. The colorful market opens all day with hundreds of boat vendors selling fruits, vegetables & hot food. The price ticket is from 120.000 VND per person.

🇬🇧 If you're planning a trip from Ho Chi Minh City to Can Tho, I have a great tip for you. There is a fantastic place to eat at the Phuong Trang bus stop along the way. They serve up delicious local cuisine that is sure to satisfy any appetite.

The customers have a maximum of 20 minutes to eat or smoke before they are required to get back on the bus. While this may seem like a short amount of time, it's actually quite common for bus stops in Vietnam to have these kinds of time restrictions. So, if you do decide to stop and eat at this restaurant, just keep in mind that you'll need to eat quickly to make sure you don't miss your bus.
