🇻🇳 Củ Chi Tunnels: Life Underground

It’s hard to truly grasp what life was like down here - but for many Vietnamese during the war, these tunnels weren’t just a shelter. They were home, hospital, headquarters, and survival itself.

With barely any light, no fresh air, and constant danger, people lived shoulder to shoulder with snakes, rats, scorpions, and centipedes. Water and food were scarce. By midday, the heat was so intense, people had to lie flat on the ground just to breathe. After days underground, many would temporarily lose their vision upon returning to daylight.

And yet, in these harsh conditions, they built something remarkable:
