Currently, foreigners entering Vietnam should pay attention to the following two requirements:

1. Health Declaration

According to Decree No. 165/2026/ND-CP, travelers entering Vietnam are required to submit a health declaration within 7 days before their arrival date. At present, there are no detailed instructions regarding the online declaration procedure, so travelers should wait for further official guidance from the relevant authorities.

2. Online Pre-Arrival Declaration

Passengers entering Vietnam through Da Nang International Airport may complete the online pre-arrival declaration up to 3 days before arrival at:

https://prearrival.immigration.gov.vn

After completing the declaration, a QR code will be issued. Upon arrival, passengers should present the QR code together with their passport to facilitate faster immigration clearance.

This system only replaces the previous paper arrival declaration form and does not replace a visa.

Hiện nay người nước ngoài nhập cảnh Việt Nam cần lưu ý 02 việc:

1. Khai báo y tế

Theo Nghị định 165/2026/NĐ-CP, người nhập cảnh Việt Nam phải khai báo y tế trong vòng 07 ngày trước ngày nhập cảnh. Hiện chưa có hướng dẫn chi tiết về cách khai báo online nên cần chờ thông báo chính thức từ cơ quan chức năng.

2. Khai báo nhập cảnh trực tuyến

Người nhập cảnh qua sân bay Đà Nẵng có thể khai báo nhập cảnh online trước tối đa 03 ngày tại:

https://prearrival.immigration.gov.vn

Sau khi khai báo sẽ nhận mã QR. Khi nhập cảnh, xuất trình mã QR cùng hộ chiếu để làm thủ tục nhanh hơn. Đây chỉ là hình thức thay thế tờ khai giấy, không thay thế visa.

For cases applying for driver’s license conversion/renewal in 2025:
Currently, the police are only returning results up to around July 2025.

You can check your status on the website:
👉 gplx.csgt.bocongan.gov.vn
Enter your driver’s license number (on the appointment slip) to view your information in the system.

When traveling, please take a screenshot of this result to present if required.

For applications submitted from 2026:
The results are issued on schedule, approximately 1 month after submission.
