𝗟𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗧𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗵 𝗮𝗶𝗿𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗶𝘁𝘀 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗳𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗗𝗲𝗰 𝟭𝟵.
This International Airport is projected to require an investment of VND336.63 trillion (US$13 billion) and is being developed in three phases.

Phase 1 is scheduled for inauguration in December and commercial operations are set to begin in 2026.
Once phase 1 becomes operational, the airport, with one runway and one terminal, will be able to serve 25 million passengers and handle 1.2 million metric tons of cargo annually.
When all three phases are finished, likely after 2035, the airport will be the largest in Vietnam with an annual capacity of 100 million passengers and five million metric tons of cargo.

Long Thanh International Airport is set to reach a historic milestone on the morning of Dec. 19, when the first three flights operated by Vietnam Airlines, Vietjet Air, and Bamboo Airways are scheduled to land at the site.

Dear beloved customers,
A gentle warning: Typhoon Matmo, following Typhoon Bualoi, is currently causing flooding and severe rainfall in Northern Vietnam. Hanoi and the surrounding areas are experiencing a bit of rain.

𝐀𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐬 𝐀𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐞𝐝: There is a lot of rain and some street flooding in provinces including Ha Giang, Lao Cai, and Quang Ninh, as well as in Hanoi, Ha Long Bay, and Sapa.

𝐒𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐬: Temporary road problems, school closures, and airline delays at Noi Bai Airport have resulted from the rains that fell between October 5 and 7.
In the north, a dam also burst, but authorities are responding swiftly. More showers are anticipated through October 8–9, with coastal areas seeing up to 250 mm.

But don't worry, Vietnam's government is handling it, and the rest of the nation is welcoming and sunny!
