Known today as Spean Kampong Kdei, this remarkable stone bridge was originally called Spean Brabteus, meaning “the bridge that gives direction.” Built in the late 12th century during the reign of the legendary Khmer King Jayavarman VII, it remains one of Cambodia’s most impressive examples of ancient Khmer engineering.

Located along National Road 6 between Siem Reap and Phnom Penh, this centuries-old bridge continues to stand strong, quietly carrying the stories of Cambodia’s rich past.
