Awesome stuff! These guys are helping save one of the most endangered primate species on earth and its only found right here on Cat Ba Island! Well done to Rick and his team!

Now that the translocation of the two female langurs from D**g Cong to The Sanctuary has been successfully completed we immediately turned our attention to the remaining group of five isolated females that also need to be moved. As such, we have begun preparing for our next translocation attempt as soon as possible. So, a mere two weeks following the initial translocation we removed the camera trap from the cave at D**g Cong and installed it inside one of the caves commonly used by these langurs in the Hang Cai area. It is hoped that information gathered regarding their comings and goings will enable us to better prepare for the next translocation as quickly as possible.
