Low season in Hanoi hits differently. ❤️

The streets feel quieter, the pace slows down, and for us, it’s the perfect time to learn more and improve little by little.

No big crowds. No rushing. Just our team riding through hidden alleys, sitting on tiny plastic stools, chatting with local vendors, tasting dishes again and again, and hearing stories we somehow missed before. Some of these places don’t even have a sign, just recipes passed down through generations. 🍜

Last week, we had an online team meeting to go through issues and feedback from the busy season, then spent the day riding a full group route around the Old Quarter together. Checking timings, fixing small details, improving stories, and reconnecting with the local people who make these experiences special. 🏍️✨

While many see “low season,” we see a chance to slow down, listen more carefully, and better understand the city we’re lucky to share every day.

Hanoi never stops telling stories. And we’re still discovering new ones. ❤️

April is coming to an end, and the days are getting warmer
It also marks the close of our busy season as we ease into the quieter months ahead.

With summer just around the corner, our team is getting excited. This is the time when we slow down just enough to grow. We’re diving into new tour research and development, while continuing to sharpen our hosts’ storytelling skills so every experience feels even more meaningful.

In 2026, our hosts will be traveling to Huế, Hội An, and Ho Chi Minh City to join other tours, connect with fellow guides, and discover new ideas. It’s all about learning, sharing, and bringing back fresh inspiration to help our guests understand Hanoi in a deeper, more authentic way.

We cannot wait to share our new tours and everything we’ve learned with our guests.

Travel to Hanoi has been a little challenging recently. Normally March and April are some of our busiest months welcoming international guests, but this year several trips had to be cancelled due to flight disruptions in Dubai and Qatar.

All affected bookings have been fully refunded, and we truly understand how disappointing it is when a long-awaited journey cannot happen.

In the meantime, we have been exploring and researching traditional craft villages around Hanoi. Very soon we will launch new tours visiting beautiful places like Quang Phu Cau incense village, where generations of craftsmen continue their incredible work.

We hope the travel situation improves soon and we look forward to welcoming everyone back to Hanoi. ✨

A Very Special First Time in Vietnam

This tour was truly special for us.

It was Elane’s very first time traveling to Vietnam. She had just arrived after a long 30 hour journey from very far away and was still feeling the effects of jet lag. She did not speak Vietnamese and did not even have a local SIM card yet.

Despite that, she decided to make the most of her time in Hanoi by joining our walking tour.

Our host Cong helped her book a Be ride so she could join the tour. It was a busy time, close to Lunar New Year, when many drivers were not accepting rides. After several attempts, we finally found a driver who could take her. It was not easy, but we made it work.

Elane was incredibly curious and asked many thoughtful questions throughout the tour. She shared stories about being American and originally from Belize, which is truly on the other side of the world from Vietnam. It reminded us how travel connects people from places so far apart.

After the tour, she left us a review that truly warmed our hearts.

Special moments like this are the reason we love hosting tours and connecting with people from all over the world. It is always our happiness to create meaningful experiences and friendships across cultures and distances.
