La peinture de D**g Ho (en vietnamien : Tranh Đông Hồ, nom complet Tranh khắc gỗ dân gian Đông Hồ) est un genre de gravure sur bois peinte du Viet Nam originaire du village de D**g Ho (làng Đông Hồ) dans la province de Bắc Ninh.
D**g Ho painting (Vietnamese: Tranh Đông Hồ or Tranh làng Hồ), full name Đông Hồ folk woodcut painting (Tranh khắc gỗ dân gian Đông Hồ) is a line of Vietnamese folk painting originating in Đông Hồ village (Song Hồ commune, Thuận Thành District, Bắc Ninh Province).
Les artisans de D**g Ho impriment ces images sur le papier traditionnel điệp, avec des couleurs naturelles. Les thèmes sont des vœux de bonne chance, des personnages historiques, des activités quotidiennes et des allégories folkloriques.
Dans le passé, la peinture de D**g Ho était un élément essentiel de la fête du Têt. Cette tradition a progressivement diminué sous l'influence de la peinture moderne et des contrefaçons. Cependant, l'art des peintures de D**g Ho est toujours considéré comme un symbole de la culture traditionnelle et une valeur esthétique du Viêt Nam.

The Mekong Delta (Vietnamese: Đồng bằng Sông Cửu Long "Nine Dragon river delta"), also known as the Western Region (Vietnamese: Miền Tây or the South-western region (Vietnamese: Tây Nam Bộ) is the region in southwestern Vietnam where the Mekong River approaches and empties into the sea through a network of distributaries. The Mekong delta region encompasses a large portion of southwestern Vietnam of 39,000 square kilometres (15,000 sq mi).[1] The size of the area covered by water depends on the season.

The Mekong Delta has been dubbed as a "biological treasure trove". Over 1,000 animal species were recorded between 1997 and 2007 and new species of plants, fish, lizards, and mammals has been discovered in previously unexplored areas, including the Laotian rock rat, thought to be extinct.
