Today is September 2nd - our National Day!

Back on this exact day in 1945, President Ho Chi Minh read the Declaration of Independence, officially giving birth to the Democratic Republic of Vietnam and breaking the country free from foreign rule.

Because of that historic moment, we now get to live in peace, with food on our tables, clothes on our backs, and true freedom in our lives. It is a day of deep pride, joy, and gratitude for every Vietnamese citizen. We get a well-deserved public holiday to rest and celebrate with family, but the most beautiful part is simply seeing the entire country united under the colors of our flag.

Happy 81st Independence Day to Vietnam! ❤️

What started as a simple ingredient has exploded into an endless menu of street food masterpieces. In this video, we went for the Crispy Grilled Rice Paper (Bánh Tráng Nướng - aka Vietnamese pizza) and the Chewy Rolls (Bánh Tráng Cuộn), but the variations are literally limitless.
