A park with sand statues named “Forgotten Land” in the south central province of Binh Thuan.
Covering an area of 2ha, the park is the first of its kind in Viet Nam. It features more than 20 works created by international artists. Some of the statues were based on Vietnamese stories and architecture such as Thien Mu Pagoda and Po Naga Towers along with portraits of famous people.
More statues and facilities will soon be built at the park.

Da Nang ready for first international fireworks festival.
The annual international fireworks competition in the central city of Da Nang will become a two-month festival, the first of its kind in Viet Nam, in order to lure more visitors to the city.
This year, the festival promises a lot of activities to entertain besides eight nights of fireworks display during it courses from April 29 to June 24.
Visitors can join barefoot runs on sand, taste food and beer at international cuisine and beer fairs, contemplate statues at an international sculpture show, study the local Cham culture, or amuse themselves at street carnivals.

Forbes has included northern Việt Nam in a list of 21 low-cost travel destinations for 2017.
Bordering Laos and China, the mountains of northern Việt Nam are well-known for their sensational sceneries and culture. Travellers often return home with amazing shots of rice terraces, towering mountains, twisting roads and ethnic minority peoples,.

Vietnam - Airlines, railway cut prices to lure tourists to southern localities during the Lunar New Year (Tet) holiday 2017.
Specifically, from Jan 14th to Feb 10th, Vietjet Air will cut ticket prices of flights from Da Lat, Phu Quoc, Pleiku, Da Nang, Hue, Hai Phong and Ha Noi to HCM city with the lowest reduction of 12% and the highest decrease of 98%.
The Sai Gon Railway will offer 50% discount than the current price applicable for tourist delegations.
Vietnam Airlines will sell tickets on Ha Noi - HCM city route before Jan 27th and HCM city - Ha Noi route after Feb 1st at price of VND2.3 million for round trips, excluding 10% and additional fees of VND160,000 per passenger. The flights will depart before 7:30 and after 18:30.
This is the first time transport and tourism businesses cooperated to attract tourists to the southern localities.

According to CNN, for traveling foodies, local cuisine is as important as the destination itself when planning a trip.
To highlight the most popular cuisines on the planet right now, CNN asked the readers to vote for their favorite culinary destination in an open Facebook poll.
The results revealed that Asian food is on people's minds these days. Japanese-style Park in Ho Chi Minh City
Koi Fish Park (Rin Rin Park) is the first Japanese Garden in Vietnam.
This 20,000m Park was created by Mr. Ngo Chanh – a Vietnamese has had time in Japan wants to promote Japanese culture to Vietnamese and foreigner visitors. The Park is designed based on three main factors: Stone-Fish-Tree to make a green space which is typical for Japanese culture and garden style.
There are also some unique features such as The Fish Lake with more than 200 Koi fishes imported from Japan (longevity of 60 or 70 years old), or special Bonsais in various sizes, especially over 700 year-old pine tree.
