Trung Trang Cave in Cat Ba National Park:

Trung Trang Valley is the largest valley on Cat Ba Island. The valley covers an area of approximately 300 hectares, has a depth of 10m to 30m and is around 15km from Cat Ba Town. Trung Trang Cave measures 300m lengthwise through the mountains.

The cave was carved by nature for more than 2000 years. The cave has many stalactites that take on various shapes that will awe and inspire visitors to use their imagination. There are rocks that are parallel to each other, if you clap your hands, you will hear sounds echoing in the cave. The cave gets thousands of tourists on a regular basis. There is also a lush forest called Kim Giao Forest near the cave; the forest provides scientific and economic research for the region.

1. Swimming beaches in Cat Ba
Information about beaches in Catba islands, Hai Phong, Vietnam. Cat Co beach 1, Cat Co beach 2, Cat Co beach 3, Monkey Island beach, Tung Thu beach and other beaches in Lan Ha bay

Cat Co beach 1 and Cat Co beach 2 is just 5 minutes walk from Catba town center so most of Vietnamese tourists often come here to swim. It is very crowded in summer holiday.

Monkey Island beach is truly an ideal place for swimming and relax. It is about 2 km from Beo harbour to come by boat. There are a restaurant here where you can seat enjoy some drinks. There are a 3 star resort called Monkey Island Resort in beach 2 of Monkey Island where you can book a comfortable room and stay overnight here in a private bungalow. There are restaurant where you can enjoy meals and drinks too.

Tung Thu beach is also a good choice but it belongs to a company building a new resort and you have to ask for permission when you want to come to swim.

2. Besides, you can take a boat cruise in Lan Ha bay to come to swim at some small kast away in the small islands.

Visitors are not only bathed in cool blue beaches , but also can discover mysterious nature through primitive forests on the island. Cat Ba National Park is extensive 15,200 ha of tropical forests with system wide 570 ha rich flora and fauna , the species is characteristic white head and Kim Giao trees.

The island has a wide variety of natural ecosystems, both marine and terrestrial, leading to incredibly high rates of bio-diversity. Types of natural habitats found on Cat Ba Archipelago include limestone karsts, tropical limestone forests, coral reefs, mangrove and sea grass beds, lagoons, beaches, caves, and willow swamp forests.

3. Delicious and Sumptuous Food
