SLEEPER TRAIN from Hanoi to Danang, have you ever made it?

✅If you would like the whole cabin, you need to pay for 4 beds

✅Sleeping bag liners in the beds, bought prior to coming

✅You get food and drinks in your cabin

✅Toilet and sink is ok, take wipes and tissues just incase

07:30 After early breakfast, check out and depart for the visit to Mekong Delta.
Head South of Ho Chi Minh City to Ben Tre in the Mekong Delta, a region famous for its coconut production. Upon arrival, set out on a boat trip winding through mangrove forests. Stop at brick and coconut processing workshops to see how the locals make bricks by hand and learn how to make different products from coconuts as well. Sample sweets, fruits and listen to local traditional music. Then take a short walk to the farmer house who making sleepmats, where straw mats are woven using a hand loom – you can even have a go at weaving yourself before hopping onto a tuktuk ride on village roads through local hamlets, rice fields and coconut groves. The morning will end with a delicious lunch into a local restaurant and its Mekong Delta specialties. Enjoy a short transfer by rowing boat on shady palm tree canal. Go back by boat to the pier and return to Ho Chi Minh City

Along Hoai river, you will have a chance to visit Tra Nhieu village by cycling over the bridge. Here you will have a brief introduction to the history, traditional handicraft of the village such as: farming, fishing, poultry and livestock breeding, sleeping mat making.... After that, you will be taken in a boat with local fisherman to learn how to cast a net, catch fish, shrimp, crabs…

Hoi An's Tra Que named best tourism village in the world
Tra Que Vegetable Village in Hoi An Ancient Town was awarded “Best Tourism Village in the World 2024” by the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) on Friday.

Nguyen Thanh Hong, Director of Quang Nam Province’s Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism, said the award announcement ceremony took place on Friday in Cartagena de Indias, Colombia, and Tra Que Village is Vietnam’s only representative to receive this award in 2024.

Tra Que Village maintains various relics as well as traditional customs, rituals, and food practices.

Baphuon temple is located inside Angkor Thom, but it is one of the more quieter temples. You can easily explore the temple without the crowds which flock to temples such as Angkor Wat, Bayon, and Ta Prohm.

The temple is one of the larger temples built during the Khmer empire, but it is in poor condition. This is, perhaps, the reason why many visitors tend to overlook this temple. Moreover, it is at the end of a 200m long causeway with no protection from the sun.
