A bike ride, a Lunar New Year meal, and stories shared over tea, this was a Hanoi day our guests did not expect.

"During their half-day tour on the outskirts of Hanoi, many places were closed for the holiday. Their guide, Bob Ngo, went the extra mile: his mother prepared a Lunar New Year feast for them. They also rode through areas known for farming, flowers and ceramics, and met Mr. Long, 85, who shared stories about his family and life in Northern Vietnam."

What happens if you cannot finish the day’s ride?

Tell your guide as soon as you feel close to your limit. The team will stop at a safe place, check your condition and hydration, then adjust the pace or arrange a suitable local transfer based on the actual situation.
There is no pressure to prove yourself. You can rest, recover and rejoin the group when you are ready subject to the team’s safety assessment on the route.
The aim is a suitable, supported challenge, not finishing at any cost.

Long before guests step onto the trail, the AnyTrails team is already at work.

The route and weather are checked again. Every bike is tested for tyre pressure, brakes and gears. Water, the medical kit, repair kit and guest roster are prepared before departure.
These details may not be the most exciting part to film, but they are what allow travellers to focus on the experience instead of worrying about operations.
