It lies at the junction line of the mainland and Truong Sa (Spratley) Island, 120km from Phan Thiet City.

In the island, several pagodas and temples such as Linh Quang, Cao Cat, An Than have been recognized to be cultural -historic relics.

Phu Quy Island has an area of 16.5km2. The island is surrounded with white sandy beaches and 9 islets, of which Hon Tranh, Hon Den (Black Islet), Hon Trung (Egg Islet) are attractive aqua tourist spots.

Phu Quy is close to the international maritime route and an important in-between logistic destination linking the mainland to Truong Sa archipelago. It is a "floating base" providing services to ships fishing offshore. With such an important position, people built a light house guiding ships going out and coming in.

Ha Noi is a sacred land of Viet Nam. In the 3rd century BC, Co Loa (actually belonging to D**g Anh District) was chosen as the capital of the Au Lac Nation of Thuc An Duong Vuong (the King Thuc). Ha Noi later became the core of the resistance movements against the Northern invasions. Located in the middle of the Red River Delta, the town has gradually expanded to become a very populations and rich residential center. At different periods, Ha Noi had been selected as the chief city of Viet Nam under the Northern domination. In the autumn of Canh Tuat lunar years (1010), Ly Thai To, the founder of the Ly Dynasty, decided to transfer the capital from Hoa Lu to Dai La, and so he rebaptized it Thang Long (Soaring Dragon). The year 1010 then became an historical date for Ha Noi and for the whole country in general. For about a thousand years, the capital was called Thang Long, then changing to D**g Do, D**g Kinh, and finally to Ha Noi, in 1831. This sacred piece of land thereafter continued to be the theatre of many fateful events.

The Ha Noi Opera House is situated on Le Thanh Tong St., Ha Noi; near the Red River and several hundreds meters east of Hoan Kiem Lake.
Characteristics: It is an old theatre with French architecture and typical Gothic and Mosaic characters reflected on the door domes and the glassed room respectively.

For a long time, the Ha Noi Opera House has been a rendezvous for those who love theatrical performance and traditional songs and music, symphonies, opera and classical opera. It is also a tourist attraction for local and foreign visitors.

The Ha Noi Opera House is renowned for its unique architecture and good composition. It is furnished rationally and harmoniously. Since its establishment, the Ha Noi Opera House is the largest theatre in Vietnam. Its construction started in 1901 and completed in 1911. Previously the site was a big pond, adjacent to the city gate of Tay Long (also called Tay Luong) of the ancient Thang Long Capital. The construction met with many difficulties, because the foundations of the theatre were built on the pond. Before building a concrete foundation, nearly one metre thick, the pond was emptied and dredged, then 30,000 hard bamboo stakes were placed on its bed.

The Ha Noi Opera House is of the same architectural style as the Opera House in France. Some foreign architects said that due to being built nearly 300 years after the Paris Opera House, the Ha Noi Opera House avoids superfluous architectural details, which make it more magnificent and attractive.

After nearly 100 years of operation, the theatre's equipment and adornments became old and run down. In 1997, the theatre was repaired and modernized under the management of two Vietnamese French architects, Ho Thieu Tri and Hoang P**c Sinh. The original architecture of the 3-storey theatre has remained. The decorative designs on the ceiling, arches, walls, and doors were renewed. The 3-metre-high stage and the audience's hall, with 600 seats, were also modernized in conformity with international standards.

The theatre has been equipped with state-of-art facilities and appliances, compatible for all types of artistic performances, from folk music and songs, ballets and piano to classical opera, reformed opera, Vietnamese operetta and drama, all made great impressions on the audience. The Ha Noi Opera House has also successfully organised many large-scale international concerts.

The Ha Noi Opera House is a worthy artistic centre and a cultural and architectural relic of the capital Ha Noi.

The mountain, which stands at the altitude of 1,487m above sea-level, has an average annual temperature that varies between 17 and 20ºC (62.6 - 68ºF).

Each of the four seasons appears within a single day in Ba Na: spring in the morning, summer at noon, autumn in the afternoon and winter at night. One particular characteristic is that the clouds are at the mid-height of the mountain, so the peaks are always clear. Ba Na also possesses very beautiful forests with green pine hills.

Nowadays, coming to this place, you can feel your interests with Fantasy Park, a lot of pretty villas, newly built hotels, and bungalows here. Each one has its own flower garden with many types of aristocratic flower that Frenchmen left during the 50 past years.

A modern system of cable cars helps the visitors get a bird's-eye view, very miraculous and attractive while enjoying a feeling of flying in the blue sky amidst the clouds and wind. Enjoying nature they will feel relaxed and healthy and have peace of mind. However, Ba Na by night is more wonderful. You can attend a friendly camping fire, drink can wine, sing and dance comfortably around the warm fire in the coldish weather. All worries of life will likely disappear, giving place for pleasures and happiness.

Located at Prenn pass, on a road connecting HCMC and Dalat city, Prenn waterfall seems to retain pristine Highland mountains. Prenn name is reminiscent of a distant time in century XV - XVII, while mountain areas were the borders to wars of invasion or territorial defences. Prenn Cham origin meaning “land of invasion”, while many indigenous people such as Lat, Chil and the SRE called invaders “Prenn”.

Located at the foot of Truong Sinh Mountain, Luong Ngoc is a shallow stream, around half a meter deep. The most popular fish species in the stream is Spinibarbus maensis. The name “God fish” comes from Muong people’s age-old belief that the fish is sacred and one might die if they catch or eat it.
With more visitors coming to explore the stream, a wet market has emerged there selling unique products that cannot be found elsewhere in Thanh Hoa.
Watching schools of large fish in Luong Ngoc stream does not take much time, the market turns out to be a perfect treat for those wishing to explore the upland area.

Queen's Beach (Han Mac Tu Tomb)
These two spots make sense to visit together. As you go down An Duong Vuong St south, just past the HAGL Resort, there's a sharp left turn marked by a gate. Admission to the Queen's Beach area is 5,000 d**g, 2,000 more for a motorbike. There's a short climb up a paved road to the top of the headland, where sits the tomb of a famous Vietnamese writer, Han Mac Tu. You can stop for a visit, but it's hardly a highlight, unless you're really into Vietnamese literature. Continuing along, the road leads to the eastern bank of the headland. This is 'Queen's Beach,' named for the wife of Bao Dai, the last king of Vietnam. It's really just a rocky bit of coastline -- we don't know if that's supposed to imply anything about their marriage. There are some cafe's overlooking the water where you can stop for a refreshment, but it's not really a good spot for swimming. You can continue down the road along the headland giving on to the sea for another 2 km -- it makes for a great bike ride or hike -- until you pass through the gate at the bottom of the hill. They may want to see your ticket as you leave, so have it ready. Then you're on Qui Hoa beach, lined with casuarinas trees, and great for swimming. There are some cafes and restaurants along the road, but it's all very peaceful and low key.

Forbidden Purple City
In the very centre of the Imperial Enclosure, there's almost nothing left of the once-magnificent Forbidden Purple City. This was a citadel-within-a-citadel-within-a-citadel and was reserved solely for the personal use of the emperor – the only servants allowed into this compound were eunuchs who would pose no threat to the royal concubines. The Forbidden Purple City was almost entirely destroyed in the wars, and its crumbling remains are now overgrown with weeds.

The narrow granite promontory of Hon Chong offers fine views of the mountainous coastline north of Nha Trang and the nearby islands.
The beach here has a more local flavour than Nha Trang Beach (but the accompanying refuse is unpleasant). Still, it's fun to watch local kids do Acapulco-style swan dives into the ocean.

Dragon Bridge - Danang - Vietnam
Welcome to the biggest show in town every Saturday and Sunday night. At 9pm, this graceful golden-hued bridge spouts fire and water from the dragon's head near the Han River's eastern bank. The best places to observe are the various cafes lining the eastern bank to the north of the bridge, and boat trips also depart from Ð Bach Dang on the river's western bank to make the most of Danang's after dark, neon-lit splendour.
