We call : That's Love

A girl and guy were speeding over 100 mph on a motorcycle)
Girl: Slow down. Im scared.
Guy: No this is fun.
Girl: No its not. Please, its too scary!
Guy: Then tell me you love me.
Girl: Fine, I love you. Slow down!
Guy: Now give me a BIG hug. (Girl hugs him)
Guy: Can you take my helmet off and put it on? Its bugging me.
Girl: Okay. Now please slow down!

In the paper the next day: A motorcycle had crashed into a building
because of break failure. Two people were on the motorcycle, but only one survived.

The truth was that halfway down the road, the guy realized that his breaks broke, but he didn't want to let the girl know. Instead, he had her say she loved him, felt her hug one last time, then had her wear his helmet so she would live even though it meant he would die.

Australia Travel Tips

Australia is one of the most popular travel destinations in the world. It’s a major backpacking, camping, and driving destination but, no matter what your travel style is, there is something to draw you here. The country is filled with incredible natural beauty from Uluru, to the outback, rainforests, pristine white sand beaches, and, of course, the Great Barrier Reef. Sydney’s Harbor Bridge and Opera House are iconic man made wonders and Melbourne’s café culture will make you feel like you are in Europe. Throw in some world class surfing and it is no wonder Australia is so popular. I’ve been three times and each time I find something new to love.

Accommodation: Hostels cost around $20 – 35 USD per night for a dorm room. Private rooms with a double bed and a shared bathroom in hostels range between $65-100 USD per night. For budget hotels, you are looking to spend around $80 USD for a double room, private bathroom, TV, and breakfast. Camping costs between $10 – 20 per night for a spot that can either be for a car or tent. Read more: My favorite hostels in Australia.
Food: Food isn’t cheap – most decent restaurant meals cost $20 USD or more. Originally, I thought I was doing something wrong spending so much but as many of my Aussie friends told me, “we just get screwed here.” If you cook your meals, expect to pay $70-80 USD per week. For that price, your groceries will include pasta, vegetables, chicken, and other basic food stuffs. An average restaurant meal will run you about $15-20 USD for no frills eating. If you are staying in hostels, most offer meals each night for around $6 USD. Grab and go places cost around $10 USD for sandwiches.
Transportation: Local city trains and buses cost $2-3 USD. The easiest way to see the country is via Greyhound. Passes begin at $107 and go all the way to $2,500 USD. There are also backpacker buses like the Oz Experience that have passes starting at $300 USD. The most popular and cheapest way to travel is to drive yourself. Camper-van rentals start at $45 per day and can double as places to sleep. Flying can be very expensive due to limited competition, especially when going from coast to coast. I generally avoid flying unless I am pressed for time or there is a sale.
Activities: Multi-day activities are expensive, generally costing 300 – 400 USD. Day trips will cost about 100 to 170 USD. For example, a one day trip to the Great Barrier Reef can cost 170 USD while a 2 nights sailing the Whitsunday
Islands can cost upwards of $400. A 3 day trip to Uluru from Alice Springs is
around $355.
Money Saving Tips
Get Telstra – The telephone company Telstra has really improved their service and offers the best phone packages. They have great coverage throughout the country and if you spend $100 USD, you get $1900 worth of credit. It’s a great deal. Their rates aren’t that high either so the credit will last you awhile.
Drink Goon (Box Wine) – Goon is infamous on the hostel trail. This cheap box of wine is a the best way to drink, get drunk, and save a lot of money. 4 liters typically costs $14 USD (compared to a six pack of beer costing the same). Drink this before you go out and save on spending money at the bar (where it is about $7 USD per drink).
Cook often – Eating out is not cheap. The best way to reduce your costs is to cook as many meals as possible. Typically, it costs about $60 USD per week to cook all your own meals.
Car share – Australia is a big country that can be expensive to get around in. If you are traveling with friends, the cheapest way to get around is to often buy a car or camper-van and split the costs of gas. You can also hitch a ride with travelers using sites like Gumtree, Jayride, or a hostel message board.
Book tours as a package – This country has a lot of activities that eat into any budget. Booking activities together through a hostel or company like Tribal Tours will get you a discount and save you hundreds of dollars.
Get free Internet – The Internet in Australia is painfully slow and expensive but libraries and McDonalds have free wi-fi.
Clean for your room – Many hostels offer travelers the chance to work for their accommodation. In exchange for a few hours a day of cleaning, you get a bed. Commitments vary but most hostels ask you stay at least a week.
Buy a rail pass – Train travel is really expensive here with most single journey passes starting at $700 USD per trip. However, rail passes range from 450 to 800 USD and cover the whole network (saving you between 50 – 70%). They are one of the best transportation deals in the country.
WWOOF it! – WWOOFing is a program that allows you to work at farms in exchange for free room and board. Everyone I’ve met who stays in the country long term does it for at least one month. You don’t even need to know anything about farming – you’re mostly picking fruit the whole time.
Top Things to See and Do
Visit Uluru - Uluru (Ayer’s Rock) is one of the biggest and best attractions in the country. Make sure you are there for both sunset and sunrise as it is spectacular. (If you go on an organized tour, most schedule a time when you are there.) It’s a pretty breathtaking sight considering it’s just a big rock and there is an Aboriginal center nearby where you can learn about the local people.
Dive the Great Barrier Reef - Find Nemo in the Great Barrier Reef. There’s a ton of marine life and beautiful coral here. Behind Uluru, it’s probably the biggest attraction in Australia. Even if you don’t dive, you can still take a boat out to the reef and go snorkeling. Try to get on a boat that has a permit to go to dive sites far away so you can avoid the onslaught of other boats and divers.
Explore Fraser Island - The world’s largest sand island is a popular place to do some camping, swim in lakes, hike, and avoid dingoes. It’s an extremely popular with the locals as well as tourists because it is such a wonderful and rustic place to go camping and close to the mainland.
Sail the Whitsundays - The 3 day, 2 night sailing trips are a popular way to see some of the most beautiful sand islands in the world. Whitehaven beach on a clear day is mesmerizing. and make new friends doing so. The water and beaches here are perfect and there’s some excellent diving too. (I ran into a couple of turtles and dolphins.) A few of the islands have resorts if you want to go on your own and stay longer.
Hike the Daintree - The world’s oldest rainforest (yes, older than the Amazon) offers easy to challenging hiking, dense jungle, beautiful mountains, waterfalls, wildlife, and cliffs. Make sure you spend a few days hiking around and getting out of touristy Cairns. If you really want to get off the beaten path, head all the way up to Cape Tribulation and enjoy some real peace and quiet.
Explore Sydney - Australia’s largest city has a range of activities to do. Climb the Sydney Harbor bridge, surf in Bondi Beach, party in King’s Cross, sail across the harbor, visit the Opera House, and hang out in Darling Harbor, which has a lot of world class and innovative (though a bit pricey) restaurants. Sydney is an exciting big city that still has a laid back, beach vibe too it.
Chill out in Melbourne - Melbourne is much more relaxed than Sydney. There are more cafes, restaurants, and fewer clubs. Melbourne is where you relax by the river, walk through the gigantic and well kept gardens of the city, eat some amazing food (Melbourne is the food capital of Australia), jam out at amazing rock concerts, and party in St. Kilda, my favorite nightlife spot. Melbourne has a well deserved reputation as the country’s hip city and I prefer it over Sydney.
Have a Sunday Session in Perth - Perth is Australia’s west coast capital and is often overlooked by most travelers. It’s expensive to get out there from the east coast so most people skip it. However, Perth is a city that feels like a large town with fabulous beaches, nightlife, surfing, and the best place to have a “Sunday Session” (an Aussie tradition of drinking on Sunday afternoons). Perth is my favorite city in Australia and if you have the time, make the journey out here.
Explore the outback - No trip here is complete without a trip to the outback to see crocodiles, valleys, lakes, and the red desert. Find your own Crocodile Dundee. The Red Center and Western Australia are the best places to go for this.
Surf in the Gold Coast - Australia is famous for its surfing. One of the best places to learn to surf is on the Gold Coast right outside of Brisbane. You’ll find world class waves, a wide beach, and lots of lessons. If you don’t like the Gold Cost, there is always Noosa, Byron Bay, Bondi Beach, Perth, – well, you get the idea.
Take a Wine Tour - Whether you go down to Margret River, Hunter Valley or the Barossa Valley, you will have many chances to taste Aussie wine from the source. Whether you go by organized tour or make up your own, visiting the wine country should be on your list of things to do.
The Ningaloo Reef – The Great Barrier Reef gets all the hype but the Ningaloo reef on the west coast is a far better reef system. There are less people out there, it’s less developed, there are more fish, and you can even swim with whale sharks. Plus, at points, it comes so close to the shore that you can swim right to it on your own. More fish, less crowds, a better time.
Western Australia – The most overlooked area in the country, the west coast is where the country really shines. Here you can escape the crowds of the east coast, explore the outback, the Ningaloo Reef, Coral Bay, Broome, Perth, head down to Margaret River, have the beaches to yourself, and get a much better feel for that “Aussie” outback experience. I’ve never understood why people skip this area but that just means less crowds for you. If you take one piece of advice from me, it should be to visit this area.
Tasmania – This is a very “off the beaten track” destination. Despite everyone knowing its name, hardly anyone ever makes it down here. Tasmania has amazing hikes, beautiful bays, small towns, and excellent people. If you have the time, take a visit down here. You can take a ferry from Melbourne.
The Blue Mountains – Right outside of Sydney, the Blue Mountains are an awesome place to explore—particularly in 4WD. As you adventure into the rainforest of the outback, you will see kangaroos, parrots, kookaburras, and more.
Cuddle a koala – Get close and personal with a Koala, Australia’s most unique native animal, at the Featherdale Wildlife Park. You can observe them up close and even have your picture taken with one for a fee. The park also features a rainforest aviary, reptile house, nocturnal houses, and more.
Rockingham Bay – Just outside of Perth, Rockingham Bay offers dolphin cruises and swims. Get in the beautiful turquoise water with over 100 wild bottlenose dolphins. You are provided with a wetsuit, snorkel, and mask.

9 Facts That Will Make You Want To Travel

1. No life is truly worth living without seeing the beauty of our planet. “To Travel is To Live” – Hans Christian Andersen. 2. Recent studies have found that money spent on travel is more likely to make you much happier than money spent on material wealth. 3. You`ll eventually forget about your $500 iPhone but you`ll never forget the first time you saw a breathtaking mounting range, your first steps on some of the world`s most spectacular beaches, your fist dive into the ocean, your first stroll through some old town in a country far far away… 4. The Length of your trip doesn’t affect your post trip happiness. A short trip will make you feel just as happy. Sometimes a weekend is all you need. 5. Studies have also shown that travelers get along with people better, and often feel less anxiety in everyday social situations. 6. Couples that travel together show increased intimacy. The best travel accessory is always the person you love. 7. Trips can change history. Darwin was inspired by traveling to the Galapagos. Che Guevara found himself biking across South America. Colombo got lost and discovered America 8. The only big cost for traveling to a distant country or another continent is the airplane ticket. A body massage in Bali is only $6. A dinner out in Korea is 10$. And, while visiting England you can stay in a real medieval castle for $150 a night. 9. Travel can make you smarter as a person. Those who travel often are better problem solvers. I think it`s time for you to hit the road! What do you think?

The Alps
Our world is experiencing devastating climate changes. The temperature is constantly increasing and it`s affecting glaciers worldwide. The famous Swiss Alps are not an exception. 3% of glacier ice is lost every year and since the 1980`s they have lost 20% of their size and may completely vanish by 2050. It`s hard to imagine that there`s nothing we can do to prevent this devastating change. So if you guys want to see a real glacier, real breathtaking views, real snow-peaked mountains… make sure you do it NOW!
The Maldives

Due to the global warming, sea levels are constantly rising. As the lowest-lying country in the world the wonderful country of Maldives is having serious problems staying above sea level. If they rise too much the whole country can go under. This threat is so serious that local authorities are buying land so they can relocate their 300,000 citizens. Can you imagine 1200 islands slowly disappearing under the sea? You could actually help with your visit. Tourism is the main source of income to its citizens and that’s money for a new home! I don`t even have to mention that you will treat yourself with a piece of paradise. Money well spent!

Great Barrier Reef

The Great Barrier Reef is a fascinating structure that consists of living organism. It can even be seen from outer space. This 8000 years – old home is a nesting ground for many endangered marine species. There are over 2,900 individual reefs and 900 islands stretching for over 2,600 km. Unfortunately this world treasure is another victim of pollution, global warming, ocean acidification and cyclones. It’s a beautiful place to visit where you can enjoy Australia’s most remarkable natural gift.

Venice

This romantic city has been slowly sinking for centuries. Today this problem has become worse due to the environmental changes like rising sea levels and more severe storms. It is estimated that each year the city’s palazzos are sinking at a rate of two millimeters (0.08 inches). In many old houses, the former staircases used to unload goods are now flooded, leaving the former ground floor uninhabitable. To prevent all this, state of alert is declared and a lot of measures are taken so this magnificent “Floating City” stays floating. It won’t disappear any time soon, but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t visit right now.

The Dead Sea

Its surface and shores are 423 meters (1,388 ft) below sea level, which make it the lowest point on Earth. The Jordan River is the only source of life for this sea. All the surrounding countries are increasingly using its waters and as a result of this it has sunk for at least 21 meters (70 feet)! It is also “abused” by the cosmetic companies for its rare curative mud. If you have a chance you must experience “the world’s largest natural spa” before it lives up to its name.

Glacier National Park – USA

This magnificent example of nature at its best is located in the U.S. state of Montana. It contains over 130 named lakes, more than 1,000 different species of plants and hundreds of species of animals. About a century ago, there were around 150 glaciers – but warmer temperatures have reduced that number to 25. It’s very important to know that they may completely vanish away until the end of this century and nothing can be done to prevent that. The loss will be much greater because the water helps to sustain a constellation of unique plants and animals. Furthermore, (it`s even more disturbing to know that) 90% of glaciers worldwide share the same destiny.

Madagascar – The Rain Forests

Can you imagine 120,000 square miles of untouched, unique flora and fauna cut down to only 20,000! Since Madagascar is one of the poorest countries in the world many of its inhabitants are forced to cut down and burn the forest in order to plant crops for food. Also the timber holds high value ($2000 per ton) so the forests are cut down even more. 80% of the forests is already gone and many species of wildlife have perished even before we had the chance to study them. The deforestation continues until this very day.

Patagonia

As a result of the global warming and constant climate changes this remarkable place has dramatically changed. The glaciers of South America which make up the Patagonian Ice field are melting down in ever increasing rate. The landscape is changing and may soon be altered beyond recognition. Since 2000 the melting of these ice fields has generated enough water to cover the entire US to a depth above 3cm. If you ever have a chance to visit this place do so before it changes completely.

Ten Tips For Traveling In India
India is a breathtaking, beautiful, but at times bewildering country. Here are my tips on how to make a trip to the sub-continent run smoothly while making the budget stretch, as I learned from my recent trip to Delhi and Rajasthan with my other half — The Norwegian.

1) They say the clothes maketh the man, and in India, especially if you are a woman or are straying from the tourist trail, choosing modest clothes will certainly make your trip easier. Indian clothes will not only look beautiful, but protect you from dust, insects, impertinent stares and the sun.
The retailer fabindia has stores throughout India, and is an excellent choice. During our stay I visited many temples and forts in a salwar kameez, a long fitted tunic and the most enormous pair of drawstring trousers. Modest they may be, but flattering to the hips they ‘aint. One sweltering day on a visit to Humayun’s Tomb, a kindly yet mortified Delhi matron sidled up to me and whispered to me, “Actually, we wear these inside,” pointing to the drawstrings of my trousers that were swinging brazenly between my knees. Imagine walking into a crowded restaurant with your fly unzipped, this is the Indian equivalent.
2) Most of India is hot most of the time, and the tap water is best avoided. Apart from the environmental impact — which is hard to avoid — the cost of bottled water can really add up. Hotels seem to make a fair profit on bottled water as even the budget joints jack up the price by 50% or more. While we were staying at a cheap and cheerful place near the magical Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary, we bought bottles for five rupees at the local shop down the road, whereas our guest house was charging 20. The classier hotels charge 50 rupees and more.
Ten Tips For Traveling In India3) Unless you are on really tight budget, mix in one or two nights in a top-notch hotel. India does luxury so well and if you find a place that charges in rupees, it will be excellent value. After nights staying in fairly basic guest houses and sleeper trains, we splurged on a few nights in a converted 15th-century fort, The Neemrana Fort Palace Hotel, for 4,000 rupees a night. Just remember: don’t get too comfortable.
It can be a wrench to go back to basics after lounging by the pool, sipping gin and tonics on the escarpments, and eating gourmet meals under the stars while surrounded by twinkling candles and a lotus pool sprinkled with scented rose petals.
4) It has taken me up to tip number four to mention, but it had to come up eventually (sorry). Most travelers will be on their guard against the famous Delhi Belly, Mumbai Rumbles or Hyderabad I-feel-bads, as traveler’s diarrhea is variously known, and it is important to familiarize yourself with a few simple rules to help avoid it. But one thing which made a big difference to us was the daily dose of probiotics (also known as yogurt pills).
Some people have stomachs of iron. I have the stomach of a paper bag and was really worried about getting seriously sick, but these handy pills kept things in good working order and meant I could be adventurous with my food choices. They didn’t, however, help against the nasty cold both the Norwegian and I developed after our Ayudervic massages, delivered by two sneezing and sniffling masseurs. Vitamin C tablets are on the list for our next trip.
Ten Tips For Traveling In India 5) Avoid booking taxis from the hotel. Your best bet is to ask around at the local shops or from passing drivers, especially if you are planning a long trip. We saved 2,000 rupees by wandering down to the village near our posh hotel (see tip three) and asking at a silver shop. The owner organized everything for us, but remember to ask if any quoted price includes extras such as air-conditioning or toll charges, and try to agree again on the price with the driver before jumping in the cab.
6) As most night trains leave well after 11 p.m., you can spend an uncomfortable evening hanging out in a restaurant or a guest house lobby waiting for your train to go.
Instead why not find a top notch hotel in the area and confuse the door staff by arriving in the afternoon with your bags but not checking in? Most hotels are happy for people to do this, but it’s courteous to ask. Both times we did, we were met with wrinkled brows, but always a kind wave towards the sun loungers, a generous head wobble and, “Of course, Sir, of course.” This can make tip five harder to organize when it comes time to leave, but well worth it for the soothing evening of luxury on the cheap.
7) Most of the people you meet in India will vary from lovely and helpful to indifferent, but there are the odd few — both locals and fellow travelers — who pose a risk. The best tip when looking for a driver, guide, or a place to eat or stay, is to go for the person trying the least. If someone is pushy, avoid them.
This is especially true if you are looking for a tuk-tuk near a tourist hotspot. Just walk around the corner and you will be able to flag down a normal driver. We learned this after climbing into the laminated back seat of the tuk-tuk whose insistent driver spent a good five minutes trying to persuade us to book him for the whole day. He ended up taking us to “Delhi Hut,” his uncle’s trinket shop, rather than Dilli Haat, a famous Delhi market. A clever, but annoying trick. Before getting too paranoid though, remember most people aren’t trying to rip you off.
8) In touristy spots though, you will often get accosted on the street with calls and pleas to “Come my shop!,” “Just looking!” or “Good price!”
We found the following helpful:
“Tuk-tuk?”
“No thanks.”
“No?”
“No.”
“Good price?”
Silence.
“Where you from Sir?”
“Norway.”
Even the most persistent salesman is halted even if just for a few seconds enabling a swift getaway. Portugal, Lithuania or any lesser well-known country would probably also do the trick.
9) One of the things many travelers to India find challenging is the poverty and desperation they see, which leads us to the thorny issue of dealing with beggars. You will be approached by beggars in India, and it is obviously up to you whether you give or not. Some people say pencils or pens given to children is an acceptable compromise.
I choose not to give anything, but try to learn about a reputable local charity and at the end of my holiday send them a donation. For this trip I choose the Salaam Baalak Trust, an organization that runs a number of projects and schemes with Delhi’s street children. They offer practical help as well as striving for longer term solutions. Giving alms in temples and churches is an option, but make sure it is legitimate: they should give you a receipt.
10) India is a stunning, shocking, assault on the senses. Prepare well, arrive with an open mind and you are sure to have a wonderful time.

Tuyến Hà Nội – Nha Trang: Bạn nên chọn Hoàng Long, Sinh Cafe (open tour), Mai Linh: ~850k/lượt. Tham khảo qua Xe giường nằm đi các tỉnh phía Nam.
