"Direct flights between Poland and Vietnam are coming soon!

Starting 31 March 2027, LOT Polish Airlines will launch a new direct connection between Warsaw and Hanoi with three round trips per week.

The new route comes at a time when European demand for Vietnam is growing strongly. In 2025, Vietnam welcomed around 2.8 million European visitors, while arrivals from Poland increased by 42.6%.

For Polish outbound tour operators, having a direct connection from Warsaw makes it easier to put together Vietnam programs for clients in Poland and the wider Central and Eastern European market, with Hanoi as a perfect starting point for Northern Vietnam and longer trips across around the country.

Rice season in Vietnam: Which destination work best for your clients?

Late August to early October is when the rice terraces across Northwest Vietnam turn golden. This is one of the most scenic times of the year to visit, but every destination has its own charm and a different experience to offer. Here’s a quick guide to help you make the right choice:

📍 Sapa: Best for a round trip from Hanoi
Around 5-6 hours by car from Hanoi, Sapa works well for a 2-3 day trip. Muong Hoa valley offer beautiful rice terraces and outdoor activities, while the Sapa center offer a variety of hotels, resorts and dining places.

📍 Mu Cang Chai: Best for dramatic landscapes
Around 6–8 hours from Hanoi, Mu Cang Chai is more remote and best explored over 2–3 days. Expect impressive rice terraces and simple stays, from homestays to mountain lodges.

📍 Pu Luong: Best for a quieter escape
Around 4–5 hours by car from Hanoi, Pu Luong offers a more unspoiled experience than Sapa while being easier to reach than Mu Cang Chai. Two-day stay works well for clients looking for rice fields, nature, and local life, with accommodation mainly in boutique retreats, ecolodges, and homestays.
