[WHERE TO GO?]

🌅 AN GIANG, WHERE THE MEKONG GLOWS RED AT SUNSET

During the flood season, rising waters transform the landscapes of An Giang, in the Mekong Delta.

But sometimes, the real magic happens at the end of the day. The sky turns shades of red and orange, fiery reflections shimmer across the water, and a small boat glides gently through the golden light of the setting sun.

Two dogs wade through the water beside their owner. An everyday scene for those who live here, yet one that takes on a special beauty beneath the blazing sky.

This is also the charm of rural Vietnam: living landscapes, everyday moments, and experiences you won't find on any standard sightseeing itinerary.

In An Giang, the flood season isn't just something to learn about. It's something to admire, experience, and discover at the rhythm of the water.

❤️ Could you imagine staying here until the last light of day fades away?

Sometimes, the greatest reward is simply finding a little peace for yourself.

🏛️ PO KLONG GARAI TOWERS: A MASTERPIECE OF CHAM ARCHITECTURE

Standing atop Trau Hill, the Po Klong Garai Towers have endured for centuries, retaining their majestic presence. With their deep red bricks, elegant silhouettes and intricate carvings, they are among the best-preserved examples of Cham architecture in Vietnam.

Built in the late 13th or early 14th century, this sanctuary is associated with the worship of King Po Klong Garai, a major figure in the history and cultural memory of the Cham people. The complex comprises three iconic structures: the main tower, the gate tower and the Fire Tower. Their harmonious proportions, tiered forms and finely crafted ornaments reflect remarkable architectural skills, while many of their secrets continue to fascinate visitors today.

But Po Klong Garai is more than a relic of the past. The sanctuary remains an important spiritual centre for the Cham community, particularly during the Kate Festival, one of their most significant traditional celebrations. Each year, rituals, music and traditional costumes bring this living heritage to life.

🏆 Designated a Special National Monument in 2016, the site is also home to the worship statue of King Po Klong Garai, which was recognised as a National Treasure in 2024.

More than 700 years after their construction, these red-brick towers continue to watch over the historic landscapes of Ninh Thuan, now part of Khanh Hoa Province. They embody the richness of Cham civilisation and remind us that Vietnam’s heritage is not defined by its landscapes alone, but can also be discovered in the stones, beliefs and traditions of its peoples.

🚂 HANOI TRAIN STREET: RIDE OR DIE?
(JUST KIDDING 😂)
Have you ever visited Hanoi’s famous Train Street?

With its narrow railway tracks, tiny cafés and trains passing just inches from the surrounding buildings, this is one of Hanoi’s most talked-about spots.

Snapping a photo along the tracks when no train is approaching might seem like a scene straight out of a movie - and definitely a memory to tell your friends about!

But remember: the tracks are for trains, not photo shoots. Always follow local safety instructions and stay in designated safe areas.

📸 Would you dare to add this iconic Hanoi spot to your Vietnam travel bucket list?

[DID YOU KNOW?]

🥋 BINH DINH: THE ONE PLACE IN VIETNAM YOU DON’T WANT TO MESS WITH !

Imagine the sound of drums, the precise movements of martial artists, and the whistle of weapons slicing through the air…

Welcome to Binh Dinh, a province in central Vietnam where traditional martial arts are deeply rooted in the region’s history, culture, and identity. 🇻🇳

Historically associated with the Tây Sơn movement, Binh Dinh is also closely linked to Emperor Quang Trung, one of the most celebrated figures in Vietnamese history.

Here, martial arts are about much more than physical strength. They require discipline, concentration, perseverance, and respect. In local martial arts schools, masters pass down techniques and skills that have been carefully preserved and refined over generations.

Would you be curious to experience a traditional Vietnamese martial arts demonstration during your trip to Vietnam?
