Relief Vietnam Tours is a responsible tourism program organized by the non-government organization Microfinance and Community Development Institute (MACDI) based in Hanoi, Vietnam. It was founded in 2009 by MACDI’s director, Mrs. Dinh Thi Minh Thai, who has more than eight years of work experience in microfinance.

Since it was first established, Relief Vietnam Tours has actively worked towards providing adventurous travelers with the most memorable experience of the various cultures, environments, and activities in Vietnam. We travel to the provinces of Hoa Binh, Ha Giang and Sapa to allow visitors to experience a day-in-the-life in rural Vietnam, using productive tourism and microfinance models to provide sustainable assistance to low-income households and ethnic minority groups.

Relief Vietnam Tours is recruiting a Foreign Marketing Volunteer.

MACDI is seeking a Foreign Marketing Volunteer, with the following information available:

1. Position: Staff Marketing & PR

2. Type of Position: Full-time Permanent.

3. Salary: Negotiable (when the expected results have seen, we would pay you the good salary)

4. Duties:

Planning and implementing campaigns to promote the images, services, and website of Relief Vietnam Tours online and offline.
Exploring tourist resources in foreign countries and customizing them to suit MACDI’s tours.
Advertising and publicizing MACDI’s community tours online
Negotiating with various travel agencies and hotels to recruit participants
Organizing an array of social care for the company
Additional tasks as assigned

5. Number of vacancies: 01

6. Required Work Experience: 01 year

7. Qualification requirements: None

8. Gender: Female/ Male

9. Other requirements:
Excellent proficiency in English (Native English Speaking)
Computer proficiency and an understanding of basic office applications
Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
Ability to work well under pressure
Proactive work habits

10. Rights: According to the labor law and other interests of the company. You will freely travel with the tour operators to customize the tours in Hoa Binh, Ha Giang, and Sapa, to explore the hidden charm of Vietnam in remote areas.

11. Preparation: The following documents must be included:
Resume in English
Degree or Certificate (if applicable)
Documentation Proving the Candidate is in Good Health

Ha Giang is a mountainous province located in the north of Viet Nam on the Chinese border. Current social and economic indicators rank Ha Giang as one of the poorest provinces in Viet Nam. More than 34,000 households, representing 35 per cent of the province’s population, are classified as poor or very poor. Thirty per cent of the population over ten years of age is illiterate, about 19 per cent of communes do not have health care stations and 23 per cent of the province’s villages have no access to primary schools. Distance from the district central about 6 km, our groups witnessed the poverty, maybe, the living standard concept was never concerned. Fragile houses plastered with mud and straw did not have any valuable-insideitems. These poor children do not have enough warm clothes in winter. Please join hand with us to help the poor breaking free from the cycle of poverty ^^
