Important Flood Warning for Travelers in Hue & Hoi An (26/11)

In Hue, heavy rainfall over the past few days has caused water levels in the Huong and Bo rivers to rise rapidly. Many streets in Hue City are now submerged, significantly affecting transportation and local activities.

In Hoi An, water releases from hydropower reservoirs upstream have caused water levels in the Hoai River (a downstream section of the Thu Bon River) to rise. Flooding is now affecting several streets in Hoi An's old town, including Bach Dang, Nguyen P**c Chu, and Cong Nu Ngoc Hoa. Water levels in some areas are up to 40 cm deep, disrupting pedestrian and vehicle access.

Due to the continued impact of a cold front, heavy rain in Thua Thien Hue Province is expected to last until 28/11. Hydropower and irrigation reservoirs upstream are actively releasing water to manage the inflows, which may lead to further increases in river levels and flooding risks.

Tam Coc in Ninh Binh is at its most beautiful season with colorful water lily flowers and amazing views from May Peak and Khe Gioi!

Water lily season in Ninh Binh is from September to November, the rivers are covered in soft pink and purple flowers, creating a stunning view.

Tourists can enjoy a boat ride on the Ngo D**g River during the water lily season. Drift past the blooming flowers, feel the cool breeze, and take in the sweet fragrance of the lotus. It's a moment you won’t forget!

Tip: For the best photos, visit between 7:30 AM and 10 AM, as the flowers bloom from 5 PM to 11 AM the next morning.
