Citizens from 13 countries allowed to enter Vietnam for 45 days

The Government on August 14 issued Resolution No. 128/NQ-CP amending Resolution No. 32/NQ-CP dated March 15, 2022, regarding visa exemption for citizens of certain countries.

Accordingly, citizens from Germany, France, Italy, Spain, the UK, Russia, Japan, the Republic of Korea, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland and Belarus could stay in Vietnam for 45 days instead of 15 days since their entry, regardless of passport type or purpose of entry if they meet entry requirements in line with Vietnam law.

The Government has also issued Resolution No. 127/NQ-CP on the issuance of e-visas for citizens of countries and territories. The resolution also publishes a list of international border gates that allow foreign nationals to enter and exit using e-visas.

The Resolution, which replaces Resolution No. 79/NQ-CP dated May 25, 2020 and Resolution No.60/NQ-CP dated April 27, 2022, will take into force on August 15./.

The Resolution will take effect on August 15.

A fantastic holiday organizer with a very personal approach!

If you want a no hassle, personalised holiday in Vietnam where you can contact your travel agent at any time for personal assistance, then book through Pham Nhung at Getaway Halong Sapa. This is our 5th time travelling with Pham and her team and as usual, it was a fantastic trip. Did we have issues, yes we did, with a grumpy hotel transfer driver who complained that we had too many bags. got onto Pham via WhatsApp and problem solved, in fact instead of the transfer being a 2 stop transfer we were taken directly from our pickup site to our hotel. Pham does basic North to south or South to North tours and will arrange the tour to your budget be it 3, 4 or 5 star. She can arrange flights, airport transfers, hotels, local tours etc. Our past trips have been personalized private tours, with 4 adults travelling and having private vehicle, driver and guides for all our tours. I have heard a lot of people talk about going to Vietnam and I cannot recommend Getaway Halong Sapa enough. Well done again Pham and team.

Pham was an amazing support for our group from start to finish. We initially bought our vouchers through The Clymb during the Covid shut down. When The Clymb folded (and took our money with them) Pham stepped up and offered the same trip, at the same price as our original voucher.

I can say that the trip more than exceeded our expectations and was worth every penny! We loved Vietnam and we loved our experience with Getaway Halong Sapa!

Amazing tour-highly recommend

If you want to go to Vietnam, this is a fantastic trip. Pham, our Vietnamese travel agent, was exceptional in her communication before and during our 10 day trip to Vietnam.

Coming from the US with never being in Vietnam before, I was unsure how it would go. We arrived very late off an international flight, and driver was prompt at picking us up and getting to the hotel. Pham contacted us via What’s App and met us the next morning to review our entire itinerary in-person. We had come off a late flight so we added an additional day so we could rest and roam about the city.

The tour was different than a typical American-type tour that leaves and returns on a specific day with the same group of people. This tour was created on any day we wanted to arrive for the 10 days. There were predesignated tours that were set up on individual days, so we were not with the same group of people or tour guide each day. The day tours were fantastic and the English speaking guides were super funny, very nice and informative. On most of the tours, we were the only passengers from the US. We met many travelers from Australia, Germany and India, etc. it just added to the international experience.

The only thing I would recommend is to add an additional free day after the long flight, another additional free day after consecutive days of tours if you have the time.

Great experience in Vietnam!

This was our first trip to Vietnam. We were originally scheduled to go in 2020 but COVID canceled those plans. Pham was wonderful in staying in touch with us since then and keeping us up to date on when tourists could return to Vietnam. From the pick-up at the Hanoi airport and our return to the HCM airport, everything went smoothly. It was very nice to have most of our days planned with an english speaking guide and most of our evenings free to explore the cities and restaurants. I would highly recommend visiting Vietnam and using Getaway Halong Sapa to take the stress out of having to plan your days.
