🚨 Vietnam Health Declaration Update (Effective July 1, 2026)

If you’ve come across posts claiming that all travelers must complete a health declaration before entering Vietnam from July 1, 2026, here’s the official clarification from Vietnam’s Ministry of Health.

What You Need to Know

✅ Health declarations are NOT mandatory for all travelers.

Under Vietnam’s latest regulations, a health declaration will only be required if the Ministry of Health officially announces it in response to a specific infectious disease outbreak or public health risk.

Key Updates:

✈️ No routine health declaration is currently required for travelers entering, leaving, or transiting through Vietnam.

📢 Health declarations will only be introduced when deemed necessary based on the global disease situation and potential risks to public health in Vietnam.

❌ Do not use the website tokhaiyte.vn for international travel. It is not currently being used for international travelers.

📝 If health declarations become necessary in the future, travelers will be able to submit them online or via a paper form. The Ministry of Health will officially announce the required platform and procedures.

⏳ If activated, the declaration must be completed within 7 days before your travel date.

For now, no additional action is required. We recommend checking official announcements from Vietnam’s Ministry of Health or contacting your travel provider before departure, as entry requirements may change depending on public health conditions.

Planning to conquer the “Roof of Indochina” this September? Please take note of the upcoming maintenance schedule at Sun World Fansipan Legend.

To enhance service quality and ensure the best visitor experience, the Fansipan Cable Car, Muong Hoa Funicular, and Fansipan Funicular will be temporarily suspended for annual maintenance.

Maintenance Period:
📅 September 21 – September 27, 2026

Reopening Date:
✅ September 28, 2026

If you’re planning a trip to Sapa during this period, we recommend adjusting your itinerary or choosing travel dates outside the maintenance schedule to fully enjoy the Fansipan experience.
