Rocky of Halong Luxury Day Tour!

We had a fantastic day on this tour!!
Our tour guide Rocky was very friendly and informative. Rocky was a fantastic guide and we really enjoyed learning about Vietnam, its culture and way of life.
Our son Lachlan who is 8 years old believes this was the best part of our holiday in Vietnam so far.
Rocky was very patient and kind answering all of Lachlan's Questions. The tour bus was amazing, lunch was yummy and the scenery was fantastic. We went to the cave and were amazed by its beauty. Would definitely recommend this to our friends and family in Australia.

Halong Luxury Day Tour
Had such an amazing day tour with our tour guide Chuong!! He was an absolute pleasure and had superb knowledge of Hanoi, Halong Bay and Vietnam overall. Was also very funny!

The tour itself was nothing short of awesome. We had booked it a night before and everything from pick up to drop off went seamlessly! We had chosen to do the luxury tour to avoid having to make stops during the drive there and back which would have usually take 4-4.5 hours, instead the drive only took 3!!! We also had the good fortune to have only had one other couple touring with us so imagine our excitement when we realised we had this massive boat that could fit 45 people for just the four of us! Was truly luxurious!! The lunch was top and all the staff from the boat crew to the driver were great.

Our tour included kayaking in the floating village (you also had the option to take a bamboo boat but I'd recommend kayaking as you can kayak anywhere and is more fun!) and in caves, a private cruise away from the other boats and really got to see the beauty of Halong Bay! And then got to see the infamous islands of the two chickens kissing and then a tour of a cave that was really cool to see.

Also loved that pick up from our hotel in the Old Quarter was 9am and drop off back at the hotel was 7pm. Great full day of seeing Halong Bay without coming back too late to Hanoi!

What really made the tour exceptional however was our tour guide, Chuong. He was funny, knowledgable and extremely entertaining.

Halong Luxury Day Tour was everything and more - highly recommend and ask for Chuong to be your tour guide!

Awesome Experience with Halong Luxury Day Trip!

We engaged Awesome Travel for our day tours from Hanoi. We opted for the private tours. The guides were amazing. We met with a different guide each day. They were all highly competent and fun to hang out with. The highlights of our trip was the tour to Halong Bay and Trang An.

The private tour to Halong Bay was perfect. We travelled in a luxury van via the highway (which meant shorter travel time by 1 hour) to Halong Bay. It was just us in the van with free wifi all the way. We then boarded a nice cruise ship with a top deck to take in the great views of the bay. We had the entire boat to ourselves.

We opted to take the bamboo boats to view the caves. Amazing experience.
And Trang from Aweseome Travel made sure we enjoyed every bit of the trip.

“3rd tour with this brilliant tour company”
After 2 wonderful tours in Hanoi, we organised these guys pick us up in Halong bay to join their Halong bay tour from Hanoi.

We met at the jetty with Trong again and boarded our lovely junk. Air conditioned and comfortable. A lunch was served immediately of prawns, calamari, chicken, a whole fish, chips, salad and veggies. Absolutely delicious and way to much - but hey, thank you.

Our tour around Halong bay was spent quietly, beating all the other boats to the floating markets and caves.

I am so happy to have found these guys, as yes, we did pay a little extra, but boy oh boy you get value for what you spend.

“Awesome travel for awesome travellers”

We just returned from the Halong Bay private tour. Cheoung was our guide. Very professional and very good English. Explained a lot of information to us about both the history of Vietnam and the surrounds. Mr Anh was very easy to deal with and book over email. Food was amazing and in abundance. Even with a seafood allergy. We would 100% recommend their services. Thank you for such an amazing day.

“Fantastic Tour! Would Highly Recommend!”
We scheduled a day trip to Halong Bay with Vietnam Awesome Travel and we could not have asked for a better experience. They picked my wife and I up from our hotel in a comfortable van. The ride was smooth, enjoyable and our driver was very informative. Our tour guide Cheung was amazing, thank you very much to him for making our experience worthwhile. We were able to enjoy a water puppet show, the Halong bay and the food was great too. Would 100% re-book with them if we ever return to Hanoi.

“Halong Bay Day Luxury Day trip”
We booked the Luxury Halong Bay Day trip with Awesome travel. Nathan our guide and Awesome travel exceeded our expectations! We booked the luxury tour and it ended up being private, we have a gorgeous van with reclining seats and WIFI, Nathan talked about Vietnam on our way out, but let us have quiet time when needed, the 3 hour drive was not that long at all! We boarded our boat (by ourselves) the boat was huge and the lunch they served was one of the best meals we had all vacation. Prawns, soup, veggies, calamari, chicken and the most amazing fish. The tour was great we were able to go further than other tours because out drive was only 3 hours instead of the regular 4 hours due to them taking a more expensive highway. Saving 2 hours and the small extra cost was totally worth it.
The while crew and Nathan were amazing on the boat and Halong bay is entirely worth the journey even on a cloudy day,
We had a great nap on the way back and went to a restaurant that Nathan recommended with ordered the food he recommended, loved all of it, he was spot on!

Halong Luxury Day Trip!

After doing a lot of researching about different day tour options from Hanoi to Halong Bay, we chose the Luxury day trip option and were very pleased with the level of service. On our tour we were picked up in a comfortable mini-bus with reclining leather seats and wifi and found out that we were the only guests for the day! Our guide Cheung was incredibly friendly and informative as we traveled to Halong and the route taking the toll-road cutting an hour from the trip was appreciated. The junk boat cruise including kayaking and cave tour was standard offering for Halong day tours, but we really appreciated Cheung's enthusiasm - especially compared to other guides and groups we saw. All around the trip was great and paying a little extra for an exclusive and faster trip to and from the bay was great value.
