✨✨THE SPACE OF GONG CULTURE IN CENTRAL HIGHLANDS

🏓 The space of gong culture in the Vietnam Central Highlands is a subregion in Central Vietnam that is home to cultures that value gongs. It stretches 5 provinces: Kon Tum, Gia Lai, Dak Lak, Dak Nong, and Lam D**g.

💥 Owners of the special cultural type are ethnic people living in the Central highlands: Bana, Xêđăng, Mnông, Cơho, Rơmăm, Êđê, Giarai, etc.

💫 Gongs are closely associated with the life of the Central Highlands and considered the voice of the spirit, people’s soul and shows happiness, sadness of the life, in laboring and in their daily life.

🧨 The gongs are made from brass alloy or a mixture of brass and gold, silver, bronze. Their diameter is from 20cm to 60cm or from 90cm to 120cm. From 20 to 30 gongs are played by the village ensembles, which consist of both men and women.

🐾 Tay Nguyen’s gong music not only contains an invaluable artistic value recognized by the society, but also a convergence of sacred souls of mountains and rivers for generations. Moreover, highlanders regard their traditional instrument as the bridge connecting human and god.

👉 The space of gong culture was recognized as a Masterpiece of the Intangible Heritage of Humanity on November 25, 2005 by the UNESCO.

👏👏 COVID-19 - VIETNAM IS A SAFE DESTINATION FOR THE TOURISTS

📍 Vietnam has reported no new confirmed cases of the new coronavirus (COVID-19) since February 13, heard at a meeting of the National Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control in Hanoi on February 21.

💥 As of February 21 afternoon, 15 of the 16 patients with COVID-19 in Vietnam had been cured and discharged from hospital. The 15th case, a Vietnamese American, at HCM City’s Tropical Diseases Hospital repeatedly tested negative from February 12 – 17 and was discharged on February 21.

🥰 Mr. Tran Dac Phu - former director of the Health Ministry’s Preventive Health Department said : “New cases may be reported in the coming time, but with the rising temperature and effective treatment plans in place, Vietnam is capable of containing the outbreak and ensuring safety for economic and cultural events”.

🌹 In the face of the above situation, Vietnam's tourism activities have also gradually returned to normal. The official website of Hanoi People's Committee quoted Mr. Tran Trung Hieu, Deputy Director of Hanoi Department of Tourism, saying that the number of visitors to the capital has reached about 50-70% compared to the time when there was no epidemic.

🍁 Many Russians was basking in the sun at Nha Trang beaches when Khanh Hoa was eligible to announce the end of the Covid-19 epidemic.

💫💫 THE BUCKWHEAT FLOWER IN HA GIANG 💐💐

👣 Ha Giang is renowned as the most attractive destination in Northern Viet Nam. One of the reason is due to the beauty of Buckwheat flowers (Tam Giác Mạch in Vietnamese) - the symbol of Ha Giang Tourism.

🌼 Ha Giang’s buckwheat is the purple flowers. It looks simple but lovely, modest but charming, in harmony with the green of the forest and the brown of the mountains, which altogether creates an endless source of inspiration for art enthusiasts. 🍁 As autumn reaches its end, the flowers become more magnificent and attractive as it will change colors from white to purple-pink, and finally dark red over time.

💥 Every year, Buckwheat flower Festival is held from October to November. This annual festival has been bewitching flower admirers, couples as well as photography lovers year after year. Tourists can join the festival in the D**g Van Highlands and Ma Pi Leng Pass until the end of November.

🐾 The Best Places to see the Buckwheat Fields in Ha Giang include Thach Son Than (Quyet Tien town, Quan Ba District); Lung Cam Cultural Village; Ma Pi Leng Pass. Ha Giang is the most wonderful place for Vietnam trip.

👉 Despite the fact that Coronavirus has been spreading out horribly in China, all tourism activities in Vietnam are NOT affected.

👍 In fact, tourists traveling in Vietnam during this period are required to wear face mask and wash their hands regularly with soap or with hand sanitizer (dry hand wash gel) as Vietnamese people always say: Prevention is better than cure.

⭐️ Here are some photos of our guests having their most memorable moments drifting in one of seven wonders in the world – Halong Bay.

💢 TÒ HE | TRADITIONAL TOY FIGURINE 💢

👉 Wandering around Hoan Kiem Lake (Hanoi) during weekends, you would definitely catch sight of colorful figurines displayed near Ngọc Sơn Temple; that is Tò He – the traditional toy figurine. Originally, Tò He was made for worship, therefore it usually represents domesticated animals, such as: roasters, pigs, cows 🐷🐮 and foods, like: a tray of fruits (See more The Five Fruits Tray: http://bit.ly/the_five_fruits_tray), a bunch of bananas or a tray of sticky rice 🍌🍇🍉

♦️ Xuan La Village at Phu Xuyen, Ha Noi is the only village in Vietnam that makes Tò He. As villagers in Xuan La Village do, Tò He is made out of sticky rice powder, sugar and food coloring (primitively, the colors all come from natural sources: leaves, fruits). Thus, this hand-made figurines are theoretically eatable ⭐️

♦️ In modern days, Tò He is in the shape of not only animals, but also Vietnamese legend heroes and other imaginative figures (Aladdin, Doraemon, Superman…). Comes with a fair price (about a few dozens of VND - $1 to $2), Tò He is really a reasonable souvenir to look back at your wonderful trip in Vietnam 🇻🇳
