𝐊𝐎𝐇 𝐘𝐀𝐎 𝐍𝐎𝐈 - 𝐀 𝐡𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐲𝐦𝐨𝐨𝐧 𝐡𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐲 𝐛𝐞𝐲𝐨𝐧𝐝 𝐏𝐡𝐮𝐤𝐞𝐭

Just 30 minutes by boat from Phuket, Koh Yao Noi offers something increasingly rare: the luxury of silence, space and uninterrupted time together. There are no beach clubs competing for attention or streets lined with souvenir shops. Instead, fishermen head out at sunrise, water buffalo wander through rice fields, and longtail boats drift across the limestone karsts of Phang Nga Bay.

This is an island where luxury is a matter of slowing down enough to notice everything around you.

The most unforgettable honeymoons aren't always found in Thailand's most famous destinations. Sometimes, they're hidden on islands like Koh Yao Noi, where fewer travellers venture and every moment feels entirely your own.

Save this hidden island for your next Thailand itinerary.

Long before Khao Yai became one of Thailand's most sought-after countryside escapes, the railway was what connected the kingdom. During the reign of King Rama V, Thailand's expanding rail network transformed the way people travelled, opening distant landscapes to discovery and shaping the country's modern identity.

At InterContinental Khao Yai Resort, that history has been reimagined by Bill Bensley, who upcycles abandoned train carriages to tell the tale of a train conductor and his love for train travel.

Heritage train carriages are transformed into one-of-a-kind suites, restaurants, a spa, cocktail bar and even a children's club. Rather than preserving these vintage railcars behind museum ropes, the signature Resort Tour gives them a new purpose by inviting guests to step inside and experience them. Original railway details, vintage-inspired interiors and curated antiques celebrate Thailand's golden age of rail travel, while contemporary luxury quietly blends into every stay.

The Resort Tour is an invitation to understand how history, architecture and hospitality come together to create one of Thailand's most imaginative luxury stays.

𝐂𝐚𝐩𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐚 𝐁𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐤𝐨𝐤 𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐬 𝐢𝐭𝐬 𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫

Home to just 101 suites and villas, Capella Bangkok doesn't position itself as a grand city hotel. Instead, it feels like an intimate riverside residence where every room faces the Chao Phraya - the waterway that has shaped Bangkok's history, commerce, and culture for centuries.

Recently ranked No.3 in The World's 50 Best Hotels 2025 (after taking the No.1 spot in 2024), Capella's greatest source of luxury isn't its riverside setting, however, or even expansive suites. It's the philosophy behind the stay.

At Capella Bangkok, every stay includes access to a Capella Culturist – not a concierge, but a dedicated local curator who designs experiences around each guest's interests. Instead of simply recommending where to go, they introduce a side of Bangkok others might never know of.

Spend the morning walking Charoen Krung with a local storyteller, learn Thai flower garland making from artisans, enjoy a private meditation session with the head monk of a 250-year-old temple, or discover why a humble Michelin-starred street food stall has become a cultural icon.

Because true luxury is measured by how you experience the destination.

Talat Noi's manhole covers feature artistic engravings created as part of a neighborhood revitalization project by the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration and local urban design agencies. These metal covers celebrate the district's Chinese-Thai heritage, mechanical craftsmanship and creative identity of the neighborhood.

Long before Bangkok's modern skyline emerged, this riverside district was home to one of the city's earliest Chinese communities. For generations, families ran auto repair workshops, scrap metal yards and spare-parts businesses, many of which continue operating today. The sounds of welding, engines and hammering still echo through its narrow lanes, creating an industrial landscape unlike anywhere else in Bangkok.

Over the past decade, artists, designers and independent cafés have gradually moved into the neighborhood, transforming old warehouses and shophouses into galleries, creative spaces and coffee shops. It is where street art sits beside rusted engines, that connects heritage and reinvention.

Wandering around Talat Noi is a niche-experience you must try when visiting Bangkok. Around every corner, you'll find another unexpected detail: a hidden shrine, a mural, a vintage garage, or another beautifully engraved manhole cover.

For travelers, Ho Chi Minh City is more than just a destination. It is a city where colonial architecture meets contemporary design, where traditional markets stand beside innovative cafés, and where every street tells a story of transformation.

As Ho Chi Minh City celebrates 50 years under its present name, it's also a reminder that the city's greatest landmark has always been its people.

Where legends of land and sea converge.

Once a fishing village shaped by the traditions of the Bajo sea nomads and Manggarai communities, Labuan Bajo is now a gateway to Flores’ untouched beauty: UNESCO World Heritage-listed Komodo National Park.

Set against the dramatic landscapes of Indonesia’s eastern archipelago, TA’AKTANA invites travelers to experience villas designed around the hillside or overwater villas that rival the Maldives. Sailing between islands and making occasional stops is the best way to understandthe local communities who have lived alongside these ancient creatures for generations.
