XO Tours was established in 2010, when our founders spotted a gap in Saigon’s tourism industry. There were a couple of existing motorbike tour companies at the time, but their tours focused on war history and to
urist sites, not Vietnamese culture or street food, and their drivers typically had limited English. At the time, the industry was also dominated by men. We saw this as a huge opportunity - Vietnamese women arguably know the most about daily life and culture here, as they are involved in nearly every aspect! The market needed a tour provider that showcased Vietnamese culture and food, provided five-star service with fluent English, and empowered women. Since then, we have been featured in global publications like Forbes, USA Today, and the New York Times, and our tours still consistently rank top in Vietnam. We've created opportunities for thousands of women in tourism and even inspired other companies to hire female guides too, which has transformed the local tourism industry. We currently offer three tours, all in Saigon: the XO Foodie, the Sights of Saigon, and Saigon by Night. Please note that our tours are exclusive, and can ONLY be booked through our website www.xotours.vn - we do not work with third party sales sites.
🛵🇻🇳🏙️ Why XO? Most of Saigon’s back-of-the-bike tour companies have a business model grounded in “quantity over quality”. They offer cheap tours, but with unlicensed staff who often work illegally, provide cookie-cutter itineraries, and have no insurance (but will lie about it), and are not safe in our opinion. At XO, we prioritize quality above all else. We have honed our tours over 10 years of consistent research, to create super unique itineraries offering experiences you simply wouldn’t have if you didn’t explore with us. We also pay all of our team members the highest salaries in the industry and offer full insurance for our guests.

- In which cities do you operate? We currently offer 3 different tours, all in Ho Chi Minh City.
- Do you accommodate vegans/vegetarians? Yes, absolutely! Our tours are vegan/vegetarian friendly. When you book through our website, there is a field where you can list all your food restrictions.
- Can you cater to food allergies? When you book through our website, there is a field where you can list all your food restrictions.
- What type of tours do you offer and how much do they cost? We currently offer 3 different tours, all in Ho Chi Minh City: the Saigon by Night, the Sights of Saigon and the XO Foodie. We do not offer multi-day tours. Our prices start at $58 USD per person.
- I am a solo traveler. Can I still book your tours? Yes, solo travellers can book a spot on all our tours (except private tours which require a minimum of 2 people). If you book as a solo guest, we will add you to a group tour with other travellers, so you can have the full XO experience.
- Do you offer your tours in any other language other than English? Our tours are in English by default. But you can also book a Chinese (Mandarin) OR Korean translator on our evening tours (for an additional fee). You must book for a minimum of 4 people, or book a private tour (minimum 2 people). For both options, the additional translator fee applies. Please bear in mind we need 24 hours notice to arrange this service.
