VIETRAVEL COLLABORATES WITH LOCAL AUTHORITIES AND CULTURAL INSTITUTIONS TO PROMOTE VIETNAMESE CUISINE GLOBALLY

🔹On the morning of 1 August 2026, at the Institute of Cultural Exchange with France (IDECAF), the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Foreign Affairs, in collaboration with the Vietnam Culinary Culture Association (VCCA), Vietravel, and IDECAF, hosted the inaugural edition of the "Culinary Diplomacy – From Flavour to the Heart of the City" programme.

🔹We had the great honour of welcoming Ms. Raissa Marteaux, Consul General of the Netherlands, and Mr. Mauricio Alejandro Martínez Duque, Consul General of Cuba. The event was also attended by representatives from the Consulates General of China, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, the Philippines, and the UK in Ho Chi Minh City, alongside representatives from various city departments, enterprises, associations, and local partners.

🔹Going beyond simply introducing dishes, the programme was designed as an experiential cultural diplomacy space. Here, international friends could directly prepare, taste, and discover the stories behind each Vietnamese flavour.

🔹Under the theme "Tropical Summer," the delegates rolled up their sleeves to craft traditional fresh and fried spring rolls. They also explored the fine art of Vietnamese regional dipping sauces, while savouring Shan Tuyet White Tea and lotus tea on the side. This immersive experience was led under the expert guidance of Culinary Culture Artisan Nguyen Ho Tieu Anh, Culinary Expert Ly Kim Long, and Artisan Nguyen Thi Minh Hien.

🎊 On 17 June 2026, as part of the ASEAN–Russia Business Forum and the Vietnam–Russia Trade and Investment Connectivity Programme held in Kazan, Vietravel Corporation participated in the event and signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Intourist, one of the longest-established and most reputable travel brands in the Russian Federation.
