📍 Địa đạo Kỳ Anh – nơi lưu giữ những dấu ấn lịch sử đặc biệt. Là “pháo đài lòng đất” dài hơn 30km, nơi những đường hầm được tạo nên để bảo vệ cả một ngôi làng trong thời chiến.

International middle and high schools always place special emphasis on environmental awareness education, while also encouraging students to participate in outdoor activities. These hands-on experiences not only help students improve their physical fitness but also equip them with essential life skills, particularly water safety and teamwork.

As part of our summer camp, the kayaking activity through the coconut forest, combined with river clean-up efforts, has provided students with a truly meaningful experience. It is not only a journey to explore nature, but also an opportunity for them to make a small contribution to environmental protection and help restore the river’s natural beauty.

We would like to express our sincere thanks to the students from Hong Kong for joining us and for spreading a spirit of green living, positivity, and responsibility.

NEW ACTIVITY AT SONG DAM - TAM KY

We are excited to introduce our new tour: Song Dam Sunset Paddle 🛶 & Bird Watching 🦅 – a peaceful nature experience at Song Dam - Tam Ky.

Activities include:
Kayaking through the wetland ecosystem
Bird watching in their natural habitat
Enjoying sunrise or sunset over the peaceful water

Glide gently across calm waters, paddle through green reed fields, and listen to birds echoing in the quiet landscape. This is more than just an outdoor activity – it’s a chance to slow down, breathe fresh air, and reconnect with nature in what is often called the “green lung” of Tam Ky.

MEETING THE KEEPER OF THE UNDERGROUND PATHS - Mr Le Khac Phien
👨‍🦳 Lê Khắc Phiến, the tunnel digger of yesteryear, still quietly exists in the memory of the Kỳ Anh Tunnels as a living witness. Amidst the fiercest years, when bombs not only shattered roofs but threatened to swallow an entire village, he and the people of Thạch Tân chose a different way to live: going into the earth to hold onto life. Mr. Phiến once said that to live, one must live underground. That simple statement encapsulated the entire spirit of the era - when perseverance and bravery became humanity’s only shield.
🌱 The first tunnels were shallow and short, just enough to evade bombs. But after the relentless barrage, the villagers continued to dig, slower and more discreetly. The tunnels gradually became a second world: long, deep, secret, weaving beneath every household in the small village. Mr. Phiến still remembers the sound of shovels scraping earth at night, the soft footsteps, the smell of straw and ash scattered on the fields to hide the traces of nights spent digging. To keep each other alive, those small people were not allowed to leave even a single trace behind.
🌾 But Lê Khắc Phiến was not merely a "worker" who dug the tunnels; he was also the village guard, watching over every secret path like watching over the lifeline of the entire community. More than half a century has passed, the war has receded, but he remains in Thạch Tân. His hair is now gray, his steps are slower, but the gaze of the "warrior" still holds the steadfastness of years ago.
👉 If you have the opportunity, visit the people of Kỳ Anh. Perhaps during your strolls, you might unexpectedly encounter one of these "heroes".
