Tet in Vietnam
I was through the fire cracker times when all single families had one or more since New Year Eve. The loud noise is a fun one to celebrate our Tet . Now only firework is allowed for safety.
We can have our Tet words/ wishes written in caligraphy methods
We can have ancestor worshiping and have bánh tét and bánh chưng and củ kiệu" and dưa món", mainly vinegared or fishsauced to keep the white cabbage / onion/ carrots...
We can have our bright color like red / yellow áo dài / clothes on to visit the graves, to visit our relatives/ friends
For the Vietnamese farmers as we were water rice farming/ agriculture; it is important to wish for a year with all the good rain for their rice fields!!!
Once a year to welcome the New Year with all the hope of the best luck and peace/ happiness in the coming year.
