Spend a half-day leisurely cycling through the scenic countryside of Vietnam, the noise of the city a distant memory. After passing through town and along quiet roads, you will come to Tra Que Vegetable Village. About 150 farmers and 400 owners live here and cultivate about 20 types of vegetables and herbs including mint, lettuce, basil, cilantro and broccoli, among others. Situated on almost 100-acres (40-hectares), 8 tons of Tra Que vegetables are sold every year.

The vegetable growers do not use pesticides or GMOs, instead they rely on a seaweed that is found in the local river and harvested by boat every morning. At Tra Que Vegetable Village you will be warmly welcomed by local people from the village, After that you can stroll through the village and meet local people who work in the garden. The local farmers will teach you their cultivation methods and how to protect developing vegetables from the insects. You will also join the farmers in gardening activities such as raking the ground, sowing, watering greens, transplanting and tending greens.

After working on the farm you can relax by choosing cooking class with BANH XÈO or choose a restaurant for you relaxation at Tra Que as well.
If you choose cooking class with family, Your next activity is to prepare lunch with a local family. You will learn how to make Tam huu spring rolls and banh xeo pancakes, which you will then be able to enjoy along with other local Vietnamese delicacies. After lunch you will be able to rest before returning to your hotel.

On the Cam Thanh village tour you will learn traditional fishing techniques and paddle a bamboo basket boat while exploring the now-tranquil waterways where war once raged. Have you ever wondered about the unique, colourful bricks that cover the buildings of Hoi An? Then you’ve got to visit Thanh Ha Pottery Village, a long historical legacy playing an important role in the development of Hoi An.

A few minutes' drive (or the ride to My Son Sanctuary) will take you to a 15th-century village known for its earthenware, which is sold throughout central Vietnam and even to countries such as Canada, France and the United States. Thanh Ha villagers made the bricks, tiles and floor slabs for the old buildings in Hoi An and the surrounding areas.

The welcoming, friendly potters in Thanh Ha will make pottery before your eyes using special local techniques that are not found in other provinces. Their techniques create beautiful, bright earthenware that is among the most durable in Vietnam.
