Three tours. Countless conversations. One very special family.
I know every journey has an ending, but when it was time for Nadine and her family to leave, it felt surprisingly emotional. She has such a warm spirit, and her daughter is every bit as wonderful.
Listening to Nadine talk about her work in education was one of the highlights for me. Her dedication, her stories, and the way she speaks about her students are deeply inspiring.
I'm sorry I didn't get to see her husband this time, but hopefully next visit. And I truly hope there will be a next visit.
