Private Ba Na Hills & Marble Mountains from Hoi An!

Our customers from Israel are enjoying their holiday in Hoi An. They knew that September can bring unpredictable weather, but they were still happy to confirm their private day tour with us.

After the tour, they were very happy with our guide Destiny and driver Hoàng. They enjoyed the experience so much that they decided to book another private tour to Hue with our guide Truc Linh and Hoàng.

They also loved our new Solati minivan, especially how comfortable it is for a long journey.

Only a week ago, we had very few customers because the weather was not good, and many travelers decided not to go out for sightseeing.

After working online with customers, replying to all TripAdvisor reviews, and answering questions from customers planning their 2027 tours, I am now taking care of cleaning all our SUVs and minivans.

Every vehicle is deeply cleaned and carefully prepared to welcome our customers in the coming days.

Grab Car or Private Company Car — Which Is More Convenient?

I have been working in tourism and transportation in Central Vietnam for many years, and recently I have been thinking about the difference between Grab cars and private company cars.

Grab is very convenient, especially for short-distance trips. The price can be cheaper, and customers can usually find a car quickly.

For a quick trip around the city, Grab can be a good choice.

But for airport transfers, longer journeys, families with luggage, or a full-day private tour, I believe a private company car offers some important advantages.

With a private company car:

√ The driver is ready and waiting for you at the agreed time.
√ The car is assigned specifically to your trip.
√ Comfortable and well-maintained vehicle.
English-speaking driver.
√ Fixed and reasonable price.
√ More personal and professional service.
√ The driver looks after you throughout the journey.
√ Bottled of water
√ Before you leave the car, the driver can check if you have forgotten anything.
√ If something is accidentally left behind, the driver can return it to you right away.

This last point is something I think many travelers don't consider.
If you leave something in a grab car, recovering it can sometimes be difficult when the driver immediately continues picking up other passengers.

I have also spoken with several ride-hailing drivers who purchased their cars through bank financing. They told me that during quiet periods, it can be challenging to earn enough to cover their expenses and monthly loan payments. Some told me they would consider selling their cars if business became too difficult.

Of course, these are only conversations I have had with a few individual drivers, not a statement about every Grab driver.
For me, the difference is simple:
Grab is convenient for a quick trip.

A private company car is about reliability, personal service, responsibility and taking care of the customer from pickup to drop-off.

What a busy and happy morning!

Just received the deposit for tomorrow’s private tour with Avidor.
We will pick up in Hoi An and visit Ba Na Hills & Golden Hands Bridge, followed by Marble Mountains. After the tour, we will drop our guests off in Da Nang.

Hoi An walking tour with the highlights, a local foodie experience, and a sampan boat ride to release lanterns on the river!

Hoi An is such a special place to explore in the evening. The old yellow houses, narrow streets, colourful lanterns, small local shops and the beautiful atmosphere along the river make every walk feel different.

Tonight, Ms. Paula, Carole and their hubbies enjoyed walking through the Old Town and discovering some of the highlights of Hoi An. We also took them on a local foodie tour to taste some of the dishes that Hoi An is famous for, including local noodles, savoury snacks and other traditional Vietnamese flavours.

After enjoying the food and exploring the Old Town, it was time for a little fun on the river.

We took a traditional sampan boat and slowly cruised along the river while the colourful lanterns lit up the evening. Each person released a lantern and made a wish for good health, happiness and wonderful things for the future.

It was simple, fun and a beautiful experience to share together.

These are the moments we love about private tours — not just visiting famous places, but enjoying local food, having fun, making wishes, sharing laughs and creating special memories together.

Thank you so much, Ms. Paula and Carole, and your wonderful hubbies, for spending such a lovely evening with us in Hoi An.
