Half Day Experience to Become Bamboo Paper Artist and Countryside Biking Tour

RESTORING TRADITIONAL VALUES THROUGH PAPER.

8:00 AM, local guide will pick up you at your hotel, get started biking around the Citadel and stop at Truc Chi garden. This morning you have opportunity to understand the process of formation and development of Truc Chi – a very special type of paper made from bamboo pulp.
With the raw materials are carefully prepared by Truc Chi team and the dedicated guidance of artist here, you can chose 1 of 2 handmade works the complete the nicely artwork by yourself.
Truc Chi team will help you pack your own artwork and you can keep for your loved people as unique gift. Bid farewell to your host family after 4 hours experience and learn the important works using bamboo.

After lunch time, keep biking to the the villages, on the green shaded roads, passing by the communal houses along the rivers, canals and thru’ the rice fields to head Thanh Toan tile-roofed bridge, visit Agricultural museum, walk around the village to see local market... (Row the boat with the villager on Nhu Y River to enjoy spectaculars scenery and explore how they catch the fish by using some old tools such as fishing trap, casting net will be optional activitie before biking back to the hotel)

If you are a history buff, or simply love discovering exotic cultures, Hue- Vietnam’s former Royal Capital is definitely on the top list of your travel plan. The city represents the outstanding demonstration of the power of the vanished Vietnamese feudal empire, including a complex of monuments, tombs and pagodas that attract tourists coming from all over the world. Each Royal mausoleum and garden house in HUE Ancient Capital City reflects the personality of the Emperor it commemorates. Cycling back roads of the old city to see their oriental beauties!

8:00am: Tour guide see you at your Hotel, and transfer to Toa Kham Boat Station, we will then take a Dragon Boat Trip on the romantically named Perfume River and visit Hue’s best-known religious site, the Thien Mu Pagoda.

Another 10 minutes by boat and we will disembark and cycle to Tiger Arena and Trumpeting Elephant. Keep cycling to Emperor Tu Duc’s Tomb, one of the most beautifully designed complexes among the tombs of the Nguyen dynasty. Then visit some traditional Incense village where you may try to make some incense by yourselves. This will be followed by a lunch at a well known Vietnamese restaurant Thien Tam where you can enjoy the Best Vegetarian food of Hue and watch our artist finish an amazing painting in just 5 minutes.

After lunch, continue cycling to Khai Dinh Tomb along the river with fabulous countryside roads. These are the most interesting and unique cycling roads in Hue city. After visiting Khai Dinh Tomb we cycle back to the city. The tour will end at our hotel around 5PM.

The quiet country lanes and picturesque monuments make Hue an ideal place for cycling. The tile-roofed Thanh Toan Bridge is not only an ancient architectural remain with highly historic and cultural values but also a tourist attraction. The bridge which always contributed to repair, renovate and preserve was built over 2 centuries ago.

Tour itinerary
8:00AM: pick you up at your hotel and Get started biking to the villages, on the green shaded roads, passing by the communal houses along the rivers, canals and thru’ the rice fields to head Thanh Toan bridge, Agricultural museum, walk around the village to see local market. Cycling back to the city for cooking class. Stop at Kangaroo Restaurant then please enjoy Vietnamese tea free and listen to the course information.
After that Going to D**g Ba market to buy some raw materials for your lesson and look at the daily life of local people.

Starting to cook and then enjoy your products.
PM: cycle to The Citadel Complex of Hue, set up by Nguyen Dynasty from 1805 to 1945, is now one among the relics of the Hue ancient Capital – the World Cultural Heritage.
The next stop is Thien Mu Pagoda Built in 1601 between a river and a pine forest is one of the oldest and prettiest pagodas in the country. Take a nice dragon boat trip on Perfume River. Tour finish at around 5PM at your Hotel.
